Given how everything turned out, I think Mitt might actually have ended up doing her a favor. Having to be down there in soup weather answering questions about Todd Akin? Shoot me now, before I shoot a reporter.

Giving prayers and benedictions is a Catholc, a Sikh, a Greek Orthodox and Jewish rabbi. Is Romney ashamed of his faith?

No where in your original statement can be construed as limited to clergy, except for the rabbi. You may have written it differently from what you meant, as many people have when they try to write fast, but you should have simply owned it instead of trying to wiggle.

In any case, I fail to see why the person needs to be a clergy. Romney himself has (had?) a quite high position in Mormon Church (he is a Bishop or something). Obviously he wants the one representing his faith to be someone who is dear to him personally. From the article I linked to you, the Hutchkinson couple seems to be one.

I guess Morman “ministers” don’t pray in public. No other way around it. If they did, one of them would certainly be praying for Romney’s success at the GOP convention. The man gives millions and millions of dollars to the Morman Church.

I heard Gov Palin herself saying that she was asked to speak but declined since she did not wish to upstage the new team of R+R. She further added, it is their time to shine. But she is doing everything possible to defeat Barack Obama.

I understand you might be saying this as a joke but I consider it in bad taste.

“I dont give a Damn what Happens. screw ALL of YOU.”

Yep. All 311 million of us. Thanks for clearly stating the ABR mantra.

The kenyan cares not what your reasons are and will happily roll the bus over you and everybody else.

Please provide a link showing where Sarah Palin said she was asked to speak. Just the opposite has been reported by all the media, including Fox News.

Yeah, you may be right that Mormons don’t pray in public. I really don’t know the answer. Some mainstream denominations also denounce praying in public especially when clergies from other religions or denominations are present. I remember Lutheran leader got into trouble when he took part in an inter-faith prayer event after 9/11.

I think it was on Greta’s TV show I heard her say that. May be you can look into transcripts of that TV show. Sorry. I do not know how to provide that. The only other program could have been Hannity’s TV show.

I am 100% certain her saying that she was not interested in attending the RNC because in her view it would be a distraction from the current nominee and his VP pick. I am not 100% certain if she also said that she had received a formal invitation to speak. I think she did allude to that, but my memory is not photographic.

MSM will object to prayers from any religious affiliation unless they are Muslim. I can’t recall a single objection when a Muslim Mullah prays at the White House at the behest of Barack Hussein Obama.

At least the hurricane is actually nearby this time, they cancelled the first day 4 years ago while in Minnesota out of “respect” aka fear the media would slime them if they went ahead with scheduled business despite the stupid weather somewhere else. Just imagine, a Black guy could lose his house and there’s John McCain “partying”.

As for this time I don’t understand why it was dangerous yesterday but not today.

Whatever, the good news is it means that clown Trump’s Monday speech was CANCELLED.

Loved some lib article I read that went “A small, but significant, segment of Republican voters believe extreme weather is more than a random interaction of atmospheric forces. When hurricanes or droughts or earthquakes inflict suffering on humanity, these folks take it as a sign of God’s punishment.”

Odd, you never hear about the small but significant portion of the rat party that thinks that George Bush put TNT under the World Trade Center and personally murdered James Byrd in 1998.

No, Evil Slayer, it was no joke. That is truly what I thought you were going to say at the end of your sentence. After all the horrific things that have been said about that dumb ass, Todd Akin, him being blown away by Hurricane Isaac would have been a mild statement. DON'T BE SO FRIGGIN' SENSITIVE! You must be a woman or a Liberal to be that sensitive.

By the way, you also ended with this: "JUDGE NOT, LEST YE BE JUDGED" Why did you type only half the verse? What does the last part of the sentence in that verse say? Betcha don't know. Bet you couldn't tell the the Scripture reference for it either could you? You're portraying a non-contextual implication for that verse. Remember: 50% TRUTH IS 100% ERROR.

Jebbie and Newton are speaking after all! I would imagine most of the delegates think Jebbie is a “true conservative.”
