Romney left MA is great financial shape when he left, the state had a surplus. Romney has financially turned around multiple corporations with a better record then Warren Buffet. Romney turned around the Utah Olympics. Romney Turned around MA. So gee lets have 90% of every dollar borrowed and let Obama be elected to 4 more yours so we can stand on some “principle”! Makes perfect cents to me..

Nope. It’s just the conservatives were so full of themselves they couldn’t see the effect of having two or more conservative candidates in the primary. Don’t be whiny and complain about the rude Romney now when conservatives could have done something but didn’t or were ineffective. Romney consistently pulled only 30-35% of the votes, but was more than enough to make him win. Him winning the primaries is the sign of conservative failure, not of the success of his campaign.

There’s a reason we didn’t elect Dukakis, or Kerry president. Which is why it was idiotic to elect someone from Massachusetts.

“Hello, we have an opportunity to sway the court, or we can tuck and run.”

~ ~ ~

We need God’s help right now not the Supreme Court.

First evil said it wasn’t a tax but a penalty only to fool us and then the all knowing Supreme Court said it is a tax...their helping evil. What does that make them?

God loving people of this country, pray for a miracle.

I don’t want to ague Nick.
I am sorry I used harsh words with you but I think you are short sighted.

Have a nice week.

Unlike the Federal Constitution (which grants Congress limited and enumerated powers), the Massachusetts Constitution contains a very broad grant of power for the legislature:

[F]ull power and authority are hereby given and granted to the said general court*, from time to time, to make, ordain, and establish, all manner of wholesome and reasonable orders, laws, statutes, and ordinances, directions and instructions, either with penalties or without;

*: Note that the "general court," in the terminology of the Massachusetts Constitution, refers to the legislature, not the judiciary.

It doesn’t matter one wit what the evidence is, the Romney supporters have decided he is something he is not.

The people of Ma demanded it. What don’t you get?

Here's another place your argument falls down. If Romney now claimed it was a mistake, and it was wrong, fine. But he says he is PROUD of it? So even he isn't claiming he had to do it. He's claiming it was great. You want someone who is proud of communism as president? Even Obama said it was a bad law. The only one with the chutzpah to claim they are proud of it is Romney. If Obama is too scared to talk it up, what does that say about Romney. He is attacking his base and the independents.

>> Beautiful post.

Seriously?

Two of the most damaging events to ever impact the United States may have been avoided if Dole and McCain won.

Liberty cannot survive on inspiration alone — we have not made the best choices given the undesirable options placed before us. As far as I’m concerned, Conservative indignation is largely responsible for the Left that’s been put into power, and consequentially the rotten fruit of its carelessness and Marxist desires.

I respect the contempt for Romney’s proven betrayal of Life and Liberty, but to accept the more criminal option is utterly senseless.

These guys will be in charge of holding Mitt Romney on a tight, right-wing leash.

Just 17 members — about 10 percent of the GOP conference — have written checks to Scozzafava’s campaign. They include House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio), Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.), National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) Chairman Pete Sessions (Texas) and Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), who is in charge of recruiting candidates to run next year.
snip
In an effort to prove Scozzafava can attract conservatives, Sessions pushed Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) to step up and endorse her. After his announcement, Hensarling took shots from some prominent conservative blogs and media outlets, with some going so far as to lob unfounded charges about Hensarling’s personal life.
snip
Hensarling declined to be interviewed about his endorsement of Scozzafava. A spokesman said he had nothing to add to his statement, issued last Friday.
snip
Wednesday night, most of the House GOP leadership, including Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy, Sessions, conference Vice Chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (Wash.) and conference Secretary John Carter (Texas) hosted a fundraiser for Scozzafava at the home of ex-Rep. Nancy Johnson (R-Conn.).

“”Eric Cantor, the second-ranking House Republican, endorsed Mitt Romney for president on Sunday””Cantor is the highest-ranking Republian member of Congress to make an endorsement in the primary””

Mitt Romney: “I’m not a partisan politician. My hope is that, after this election, it will be the moderates of both parties who will control the Senate, not the Jesse Helmses.”

Why can’t he be proud of it? That is what his constituents demanded.

We need to realize that you CAN NOT depend on the Supreme court. Romney won, I sent money to both Cain and Gingrich my guys lost! Romney is far and away better than Obama on ANY level, and I would vote for my dead dog over Obama. We simply can not run trillion dollar deficits for the next 4 years. WE barrow 40 cents on every dollar. We will barrow 90 cents on every dollar if Obama gets for more years. Obama simply declares laws null and void with the stroke of his pen. America will have more illegals voting if Obama wins than citizens and you think Romney will be worse than that because he passed Romney care in MA.? You really think 4 more years of Eric Holder is OK?
