Unreal. We’ve got a lot, and I mean a lot, of morons living in this country. America! Proof that you can’t fix stupid!
The Todd Akin effect
Baffling.
You have completely liberal outlets over sampling Dems and showing Romney ahead and then Ras pops up with a 3 point lead for Obama.
Guess I need to pay even less attention to polls.
WTF?
Not to fret!!! Stay strong, this race has not fired up just yet, no matter what the mainstream media say or does. Let’s check back in a few weeks and see where this race is. Stay focused and get out our vote,, no matter what any poll says.
Check back September 7!
BS
After Obama sued Gallup, I expect to see him doing a lot better in the polls. Fear is a great motivator.
Maybe I’ve been wrong about American voters. I’ve just assumed they’re just a dumbed-down, disinterested, unaware lot. Perhaps a socialist path is truly what they want. They’ve certainly had plenty of time to see first-hand what Obama has done to this once-great land.
But apparently they’re liking what they’re seeing.
And THAT’S the most unnerving part.
And there are events that could occur prior to November that could swing the election one way or another. The real campaign season starts tomorrow.
Wow. This is the second weekend in a row we see these exact results. This is very surprising. Nothing, and I mean nothing in current events should lead to this weekly shift. It is either polling irregularities over the weekends, or an incurable level of ignorance.
I call BS!
Remember 2010, Va Gov race, “2016” the movie is 3rd place in 1/2 the theatres, DC Tea Parties with millions, this poll is lunacy.
this has got to be a dream... i thought i woke up this morning but apparently not...
i cannot possibly live in a land where the majority of the people i come in contact with everyday are this stupid.
It appears this race will come down to turnout. The conservatives are fired up. The issues are on Romney's side. The audiences at Obama rallies are yawning.
Obama is to America what Castro was to Cuba.
Well, that’s not quite true - - Obama likes to “chase the little white ball around the golf course.”
In other words 50% of the people you run into today are idiots.
Horse feathers.
We’re stupid if we fall for this crap.
Not Akin affect, instead, it is:
“conservatives are tired of idiots calling us knowing they represent liberal polling organizations and they’ll lie, cheat, steal, oversample, so we hang up on them and since we’re working, we’re harder to get ahold of and answer the phone”
Thus, you have 2010 all over again where the pollsters will be wrong again. I’m also tired of hearing how righteous Rasmussen is.
Romney and Ryan need to go out every day until the election and hammer away at Obama’s failed policies, and not be thrown off message by the constant Democrat distraction machine. Obama-Axelrod have been effective in making Romney take the bait over Bain, tax returns, etc.- this has to stop; he needs to shut out all that and stay focused:
Remember when the Democrats bleated away in ‘06 about how it was the “worst economy since Herbert Hoover” (even though the unemployment rate was often under 5%...), or how Obama constantly repeated the line, “We can’t have four more years of the failed policies of George W. Bush...” in ‘08? Romney needs to apply the same tactic in going after Obama. I know some Republicans frown on repeating statements (because they think it’s beneath them, or childish, or whatever... but it works).
Romney needs to go on the offensive on the economy to remind voters- and I would use that line, “failed policies of Barack Obama” repeatedly- just to irritate Obama. There are still a fair amount of voters who think that there isn’t much difference between Obama and Romney on the economy- Romney and Ryan need to create a stark contrast and put Obama on the defensive.
People actually viewing Obama favorably, and this is Rasmussen and likely voters. Really troublesome.
I can blame Romney somewhat mainly for being a bland personality, but a positive view of Obama? It’s demographics, media, liberal education.
