The next district over from me they’re accusing the GOP candidate of being a child abuser.
And we all know, when the Democrats say "Jump" the Republican leaders say "How high?"
Maybe, if you have Todd Akin's ear, that he should be more concerned about Missouri voters, rather than the echo chamber in Florida he flew to, to keep his prize(the Senate seat).
Think it was pretty obvious to anyone with a shred of sense that this Todd Akin moron was doomed to be a toxic liability to the GOP’s electoral efforts as a whole.
This akin chump will not be pleased until he drags the whole ticket down with him. Too bad there is no way to repo his cushy tax payer paid retirement.
All the democrats love him and he can socialize with them after he is out of office for good next year.
Whether he resigned or not, they would still have to deal with his comments — and he ain’t resigning. So deal with it.
Akin didn’t socialize with Republicans often, much less Demwits...

Lemme know when you’ve implemented your plan to replace Akin with someone else, ‘till then, your incessant whining only helps Akin’s opponent.
If it wasn’t for the Republicans yapping on and on about it for days on end, we would not be in the mess we are in. Akin said the words and if the Republicans didn’t scream and pout, this would not even be an issue. Good luck Republicans making your job harder.
And we all know, when the Democrats say “stay in todd akin” the akin zombies and akin himself say “Yes, we can!”.
Oh no, Todd Akin cannot be held responsible for his words, such as the female reproductive system shuts down during rape and that basically the victim has a magic uterus.
Oops, I forgot that Saint Todd Akin, is off limits.
“It seems to me, first of all, from what I understand from doctors, that’s really rare. If it’s a legitimate rape, uh the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.”
“But let’s assume that maybe that didn’t work or something. You know, I think there should be some punishment but the punishment ought to be on the rapist and not attacking the child.”
Akin subsequently issued this apology:
“Rape is an evil act. I used the wrong words in the wrong way and for that I apologize. As the father of two daughters, I want tough justice for predators. I have a compassionate heart for the victims of sexual assault. And I pray for them. The fact is, rape can lead to pregnancy. The truth is, rape has many victims. The mistake I made was in the words I said, not in the heart I hold. I ask for your forgiveness.”
It is clear from the context that Akin intended “legitimate” to mean “actual,” not “acceptable.”
So Karl Rove's lynch mob is here on Freerepublic for what reason?!?
