I live in Missouri. I have had people try to locate me because of my online postings, so I obfuscate.
Akin can win in the "Anybody but McCaskill" sense, just as Romney is "Anybody but Obama."
I repeat: Akin can win because people hate LearJet McCaskill.
Can you hear me now? Or is California so far away that you really don't know what's going on in Missouri, you just like to pretend you do?

I hear the same thing in our area, but I cant square the fact that 30%-40% of poor are obese, USDA food stamps are at record levels, yet foodbanks are seeing more demand than ever. I'm guessing that post #5 has the explanation: the welfare class are trading food stamps for cash to buy drugs, liquor and expensive shoes and manicures, and then hitting the food banks for food.
High demand for food-bank food does not necessarily mean that people are hurting more, it may mean that deadbeats are making the rounds.
