Good call and frankly I am degusted in what is going on. This is the last thing the GOP needs right now. This may be my finale go around with that party with the way things are going.

Since the Dems are intent on making this election about abortion, it’s only fitting that we start referring to their convention as the D&C.

Third party will only work IF we go to a ‘50% + 1’ runoff system...

THAT is waht I’m afraid of! They got their establishment hack Romney, totally forcing him on us disregarding MOST Republicans lack of support for Romney. And now they want to force all conservatives out of any decision making process and make it impossible to be delegates! This kind of CRAP is exactly WHY I did NOT WANT ROMNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Frakkin establishment HACK!!!!!!!

What part is myth? They’re trying to stop conservatives from being Delegates period. I am not a Paul supporter. Never have been. Never will be. I am a Reagan conservative, voted for EVERY Republican candidate every election for 22 years, ONE Democrat all my life, a rare conservative democrat, and the most constitutional conservative candidate in every primary, always Republicans, even voted for Bush 41 and Dole and McCain even though they were clearly establishment moderate milk toast hacks. I’ve never voted third party, and very supportive of Paul Ryan as the VP Pick. Worked hard and did my part to get real conservative Ted Cruz elected to the U.S. Senate over establishment moderate David Dewhurst, active in the grassroots that GAVE the GOP the U.S. House. Now they want to prevent anyone conservative like me from being a delegate. What do you think is a myth? The RNC is trying a ghetto thug takeover trying to freeze grassroots conservatives out, and we ARE the Republican Party. Without us, the GOP is dead meat.

Hi there. I am TexasPatriot8, could not get my ID logged in and don’t have the email I had it registered with anymore, so I just gave up. too frustrating. LOL! I hope this all works out. If the RNC gets away with this, we have NO VOICE, they just expect our votes every election, and we have NO VOICE and can NEVER be delegates!

Oh, oh...I think Rush is stepping into the rules fight big time....and on the wrong side. He's misreading the grass roots conservatives for the first time in my 20-plus years memory.

I understand his reasoning, but the grass-roots Right won't.

He was uneasy, I could tell, and he sure cut off that guy from Texas from whom I wanted to hear more.

So much for the first amendment. Is he banned from flying for all three years?

Mrs S hosted the PA delegation today for lunch BTW. Don’t ask why her
firm paid for that privilege, we don’t know. She will be behind the podium
during Ann Romney’s speech, look for the Mitts.

Oh, oh...I think Rush is stepping into the rules fight big time....and on the wrong side. He's misreading the fed-up, anti-elite conservatives for the first time in my 20-plus years-memory.

I understand his reasoning, but the grass-roots Right won't.

He was uneasy, I could tell, and he sure gave short shrift to that knowledgeable guy from Texas from whom I wanted to hear more.

This fight should have been fought by the Party before the opening of the convention. People (and delegates) don't like tricky stuff dumped on them hours before the event opens. And I don't blame them one bit.

I don’t think Rush is necessarily on the wrong side of this; I think he is just trying to avoid handing the Democrats an occasion to talk about a divided GOP at the Convention and/or stirring up more grassroots anger against the establishment, as if it weren’t bad enough.

But this rules fight is suicide for the GOP-e. You would think they should know better than to tick us off even more than they already have during this bitter primary battle, but I guess they never learn.

I’m anxious to see how this rules change works out. Thought the GOPe backed down yesterday but apparently not. I keep flipping back and forth between FOX and C-SPIN and no one is talking about it.

This crap of the RNC elitist establishment moderate trash targeting conservatives has got to stop. They put up LOSERS like Bush 41, Dole, McCain, Romney establishment hacks, and if Romney doesn’t win it will be the RNCs fault for picking him. I’m voting for him to beat obama not cause I like Romney. W. Bush only won because he was more conservative than any of the others I named, but not a real solid conservative. The RNC is only doing this because they KNOW the grassroots TEA Party movement, which IS the conservative movement, is taking the party back to the right, and they can’t stand it!!! The RNC is going to split the party in half if they don’t knock it off. I already have a hard time being identified at all as a Republican, and if the RNC keeps targeting conservatives more than liberals, I’m out. And I’m a guy that has called third party ideas FOOLISH, but the RNC isn’t leaving any options. They’re actually suicidal enough they’d rather be a minority without us, than a majority with us. How effing foolish and short sighted and destructive is that??? Without Christian Constitution minded conservatives like me, there IS NO Republican majority forever, and that means America is DEAD with Democrat liberal socialist rule. The RNC is literally taking a stand to kill America by splitting the Republican Party, because the RNC tolerates liberals and moderates MORE than conservatives!!!

It’s not clear if the travel ban is for the entire period of the probation.

How exciting for Mrs. S. I will be watching for her!

Why aren’t you down there?

They had no credentials available plus we’d have to kennel the dogs and
blah, blah, blah. I really didn’t feel like going.

Damm, the suites behind the podium are dark, I can’t see her :o(

My eyes ain't what they use to be.

Second, I can't abide Establishment Republicans" and have posted such, many times. Too late, they've already split the party.
Haven't you seen the rise of "The Conservative Party" in many states?
