Clothes can actually BE weapons. You can suffocate somebody with them. Or strangle somebody with the pants legs! The kids ought to be going to school naked.
And what about a lunchbox! Pencils! You can even hit somebody over the head with a desk if you're strong enough.
I'd say put the kids in straightjackets, but they could loop the arms over somebody's head.
