I missed some parts of the Eastwood speech. MSNBC gang complained that Eastwood made the imaginary Obama on the stage use the F-word "I KNOW he does not use that word...." I don't think Eastwood said that word, but rather "I can't do that to myself." I thought that Eastwood described what the imaginary Obama was
thinking.
GOP characters seem to be trying to play it safe, saying what Eastwood said doesn't matter (but probably laughing their ***es off when not on camera).
