Ofcourse their is an inconsistency. Rubio made a gaffe and Akin made a gaffe. Akin’s gaffe was reacted to with over the top hysteria and Rubio’s gaffe wasnt. By the way Akin was explaining his position on abortion. Yep, that is a very sensitive topic especially if one doesnt support it for rape and incest.
Romney is still up in polling which shows the Republican reaction to Akin was idiotic.
