You watch how this plays out. The Minute the US is notified either by our intelligence folks or Isreal itself that an attack in is progress....

Obungler calls a emergency Prestitute conference and claims he is in charge and has given his approval. Meanwhile he works behind the scenes giving aid to Iran.

Well isn’t that the whole point of ‘diplomacy’ in this case? To waste enough time (and money) until this thing becomes a crisis, until Israel has to act, and can then be painted as the bad guy? The nerve of those Jews, trying to survive!!!

LOL, nothing is going to happen before the elections so long as it appears Romney has a chance to win. If Israel attacks Iran, Obama would reluctantly support Israel, we’d end up with a rally around the flag effect, and Obama would be easily re-elected. I don’t think Israel wants 4 more years of Hussein.

For a “leader” who criticized “Bush” for Katrina in New Orleans; I haven’t seen a single FEMA employee handing out so much as bottles of fresh water down in New Orleans. (not that it’s absolutely necessary, but I figured Obama would have had on his Mighty Mouse suit handing out water and giving speeches - his answer to everything - on a split screen with the Republican Convention).

Time has run out and Odipsh_t has won. He was for the islamic cause all along. His original strategy, using the diplomatic option, was designed to give the Iranians enough time to design and make nuclear warheads. Mission accomplished.

The latest IAEA quarterly report published Thursday must have seriously embarrassed the Obama administration by making nonsense of its dependence on diplomacy and sanctions, the International Atomic Energy Agency reported a 31-percent jump in Iran’s 20 percent enriched uranium to 189.4 kilograms from 145 in May.
It is therefore obvious to the world that Iran has not been deflected by sanctions one whit from its gallop towards a nuclear weapon capacity. The time has come for the adults in the room to effectively deal with this growing menace.

I am sure the Mossad has already game planned your scenario.
Let’s just say that he might never make it to that microphone.

Oh, no, not a narcissist! Nothing will stop him. I bet if anything happened he would not miss that opportunity for national attention. They would have to drag him kicking and screaming off the stage pulling the podium and teleprompter along with him.

I could very well be wrong but I can't help but think that an attack before our election would help Osama Obama at least a bit...if not a lot.”Wartime President” and all that stuff. As a result,I hope that Israel waits until *after* November,if so doing wouldn't represent an unacceptable risk.

Of course, this just means the Iranians now the clock's ticked down.

Somewhere in the Indian Ocean aboard four Israeli Dolphin-class attack submarines near Iran . . .

Radioman: “Captain, I have FLASH message traffic coming in on the ELF (extremely low frequency) circuit from the National Command Authority.”

Captain: “Weapons Officer warm-up the weapons. Exec, on me to authenticate the targeting and launch protocols.”

The Israeli’s first strike against Iran will most likely be an EMP [Electromagnetic Pulse] strike. Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_pulse

The EMP strike will effectively destroy anything that is electronic or electrical in Iran. The country will go from the 21st century light to the 7th century dark within seconds to minutes. Iran is rendered deaf, dumb, and blind in a flash of EMP radiation.

Iranian n-plants ae now vulnerable to follow-up second and following strikes. Unless the undergound facilities are EMP hardened and have independent power, they will become tombs for anyone in them.

If the Syrians or Egypitians want to play war, EMP would wreak havoc with them, too. Casualities will be minimal, but these countries will devolve into total chaos and anarchy.

I agree with your strategy. Cut the head off the snake and blind them. Also cuts off any communication with Iranian overseas cells. Wont stop them completely but it will force them to act independently with no central control.
