Mormonism is a religion, a unique religion of it’s own, created by Joseph Smith, and helped in it’s creation when the Romneys came here to serve him in 1842.
I think people may catch their breath a little, if they find out that Romney believes that devotion to Mormonism, and fellow Mormons will make him a God himself, and that Mitt will have a planet like earth to which he is their God, just as our God is to us. In Mormonism God was once a man just like Mitt, but he earned us as his planet.

How about the Mormon apostate, a former employee of Romney, whom Bishop Romney approached when she had her son outside of marriage, asking her to give the child up to adoption? (She described this as basically saying to give up the child to the LDS. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Mormons ran the adoption agencies in Utah too.) When she refused, she claims he told her there would be consequences (Mormon excommunication).
I guess it depends on which narrative you want to believe.
The LDS employes “love bombs” to get people into the church, and then they practice shunning of apostates, even pressuring entire families to cut off contact with a Mormon who has left the fold.
When you say practitioners of Mormonism “Jesus”, are you talking about the Biblical Jesus or the LDS Jesus, they are not the same.
Mormonism teaches that Salvation must be earned, it is not given by Grace. In order to earn Salvation, they must be “good”.
