Romney's narrative for next 9 weeks aimed at women

Like tightly structured novels, political conventions introduce no random characters or irrelevant passages.

So when former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez were chosen for prime slots on the night of vice-presidential nominee Paul Ryan's national debut, the Romney campaign was intentionally advancing a narrative it will emphasize over the next nine weeks:

Women like Mitt Romney. And the endorsement of impressive leaders like Rice and Martinez - not to mention his appealing wife, Ann - suggests that female voters should believe the Romney-Ryan ticket will best serve their interests.

The Democratic charge that Republicans are waging a "war on women" could be contributing to a significant gender gap afflicting the Republican ticket.

According to the most recent Gallup poll, Obama is leading Romney by a margin of 50 to 42 percent with women voters. Meanwhile, Romney leads Obama with men by a margin of 51 to 41 percent.

The good news for Democrats? Women turn out in higher numbers at election time than men. In 2008, women comprised 54 percent of the electorate,...

"Romney will have a very difficult time winning unless he can turn those numbers around," [Mark P.]Jones says.

.... Romney unabashedly wooed women: "When my mom ran for the Senate, my dad was there for her every step of the way. I can still hear her saying in her beautiful voice, 'Why should women have any less say than men, about the great decisions facing our nation?' "

He wished, he said, she could have heard the convention's speeches by Rice, Martinez and other female luminaries.

And he reminded the audience that he "chose a woman lieutenant governor, a woman chief of staff," and filled many other high-level positions with women."....

Why do people think there is no accounting before God for any sin now? And even the worst is accepted, abortion. Look at the list in the message, our nation is guilty of everything on it~! Do not reject prophecy, believe.

What is coming has been wrought with human hands. Man, rebelling for years against My Orders and giving himself over to worldly affections, did not heed his conscience or heart that calls him to stop.

My People must become stronger, since within it are lukewarm people. Desiring what is of the world leads you to ignore My Petitions.

The folly of the denial of My Divine Love,
The indifference to the Gift of Life,
The torture of innocents,
Disobedience of My Word and of My Mother’s Calls,
The nefarious creation of atomic energy and its derivatives,
The slander of the cinema and television,
The arrogance of man who limits Me
The lack of love of those who are Mine towards My Mother,
The adhesion to the father of lies and
The deceitfulness of the industries that contaminate the human body offering altered products for consumption.

The death of nature does not go unnoticed; nature has wept before man who has destroyed it. What man has left in space will fall upon the Earth. The contaminated waters will rush upon the earth.

Man will be purified by his own hands…

Amazing, what came raining down on you for having written, “he was raised by a strong and accomplished mother”.

And that was in reply to my comment that he touts women who are also ladies, not just women, who have demonstrated class as well as accomplishment.

Then all you-know-what broke loose.

Is there a word of untruth in what we wrote? Is there anything WRONG with mentioning those two truths?

No and no.

DUH!

Our comments are countering the Left’s Lies not only about Romney’s record re: women, but the record of the GOP and Conservatives generally.

The Left’s lies are designed to trap Americans into the very chains Joe Biden lyingly mentioned, by re-electing Obama, and Harry Reid’s Senate.

The same Left that says Romney and the rest are warring against women is the same one telling blacks that “they want to put you back in chains”.

But how dare we post a couple of truthful comments regarding the record re: women, to counter them.

Lenore Romney was a great influence on her son Mitt.

Here is Mitt telling us how he learned his values, and the courage to defend those values, from his mother.

“My position has been the same throughout my political career, and it goes back to the days of 1970,” he said. “There was a woman who was running for political office, U.S. Senate. She took a very bold and courageous stand in 1970, and that was in a conservative state. That was that a woman should have the right to make her own choice as to whether or not to have an abortion. Her name was Lenore Romney, she was my mom. Even though she lost, she established a record of courage in that regard.”

The courage that he says she instilled may have been what enabled Mitt Romney to announce this week that he was returning to his pro-abortion position, and was never anything but, and to say with a straight face, that he had openly campaigned as a 'health of mother' abortion advocate.
