A few jackwagons that claim to be on the Right also missed the substitles. # ‘em.

Clint rocked in all is senior glory. Every pause, hesitation, reflective moment, shifting of gears, etc was perfect. The man is an honorable 82 years of age. His canonical cool was plainly in sight.

“One of the most overlooked subtleties was his parody of The Greatest Orator In All History’s egregious speech patterns.”

Thanks for pointing that out. You can see at the end of his routine when he gets into the dialog about "make my day" with an audience member that he drops the Obama speech pattern and talks like himself.

The mystery speaker for the closing night of the GOP convention in Tampa, is now only a mystery to those unsophisticated, humorless pundits on the left.

Of course they miss the subtleties and nuance - they really are too stupid and tunnel-visioned to pick up on it. Many of them have learned the word "nuamce" because they think it sounds sophisticated and smart, but they use it to describe situations where they have no idea of why one of them said something so stupid the average 2nd grader would recognize the gaff - they say we missed the nuance as an explanation of how they're brilliant and we're not...

You know, that empty chair on the stage looks more and more like a child’s highchair to me. It isn’t just an ordinary office chair. I think Clint must have seen that one backstage and said that’s perfect.

One of the most overlooked subtleties was his parody of The Greatest Orator In All History’s egregious speech patterns.

Yes, all that Choom Gang Ganja has his brain demented and babbling. You are brilliant for pointing out that it was mockery, not the failings of an 82 yr old Clint.

What Clint did was an art form that I don't think people are still getting their arms around....

* It was the Artist Stagecraft, something you might only get at a high end drama training session in College, a push the envelope exercise of your mind and talents.
* It was not only Acting but Humor, maybe Poltical Satire at it's finest.
* The Metaphors of the empty seat i.e. Obama's empty promises, empty suit, the missing President, the dimished POTUS, etc etc etc are endless, we as Freepers' could brainstorm them for thousands of post...

The more we think about it, and replay it on the web, the more we see, we will be talking about this for quite sometime...

Notice that the photo tweeted by POTUS is of the back of the chair?

Symbolic of how he has turned his back on the American people.

Watching it again it convinced me that Clint parodied Obama when he spoke without the teleprompter. It also borrows from Jimmy Stewart in Harvey and Bob Newhart's one way phone conversation routine in his stand up act.

It was a unique for a political conventions and as it will turn out, devastatingly effective.

Obama is thin-skinned to post a photo of himself in a chair with his back turned to the camera. Perhaps someone brought this to him and he made a hasty emotional decision to post it. In any case it indicates that the guy has no class, no sense of history, and puts his own ego in front of the duties of the presidential office. The contrast in style and bearing between him and a Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, or even JFK could not be more clear.

Anyone who saw the 1950 classic film Harvey starring Jimmy Stewart understands the significance of the empty chair and that Clint Eastwood with his stuttering was merely acting like Jimmy Stewart.

They dress up as giant vaginas, and poop on police cars. They don’t do “subtle”.
