Why wasn’t it a bigger issue?
Juan McCain, and his advisers, kindly lent to him by Mitt Romney.
I said at the time that if McCain had pushed the theme of Obama as an extremist baby killer in the debates, he would have won.
But he didn’t. Or anything else that might have won him the election.
Those who would make the argument that an unborn child isn’t a viable human being have nothing to stop their reasoning from including a new born. Early Christians in the Roman Empire posted lookouts around garbage dumps and places where people would leave their newborns for animals to eat. They would take those babies, and raise them as their own. It was easier then. Even with adoption services and Christian organizations waiting to save unwanted babies, our society prefers death. That will become more evident as Christianity is made the enemy of the modern world. Babies won’t be the only sacrifice made to the god of humanism.
Because John McCain wanted to run an "honorable" losing campaign.
The important issues in 08 were the status of Joe the Plumber’s trade license, and the DNA of Palin’s Down Syndrome child.
The MSM covered those well.
Think of Sean Hannity’s current slogan “The year we vet Obama”.
This was only one of many, many subjects that were brushed under the carpet by the MSM.
Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, the sealed records, the “community organizing”, the openly admitted to drug use, the Muslim education in childhood.
I’d like to see some shady white guy, who spent his time hanging around with communist terrorists and who openly admitted he’d been a big pot head who dabbled in cocaine and who attended a “church” were God was often asked to damn America get NOMINATED for President by a major party, much less elected.
Obama got a pass, because he’s black.
And judging by the behavior of the MSM lately they think he deserves another one for the same reason.
I was trying to tell everyone I could...they kept telling me if it were true the media would be all over it. I had to print a copy of his voting record on this to get people to believe me.
Why are we talking about 2008?
The 2012 election is just ahead. Make it an issue now.
