Romneycare is Hugely unpopular here in Massachusetts ( Although initially popular ) and an unmitigated disaster. The reason it hasn’t been repealed? Have you ever seen a massive entitlement program repealed,even when it’s massively unpopular?
Yes I have seen many STATE entitlement programs dismantled, but NOT FEDERAL. All republican governors are slashing spending as we speak. Federals can print money, so they just keep the Ponzi scheme going.
