W wasn’t a late night partier, but he made a point of spending time with and trying to work with Congress.

The Obamas do plenty of evening entertaining—it just seldom involves Congress and never includes Republicans.

Moochelle punished him with two babies and now he has to eat with them instead of George Clooney.

"But he does manage to brew beer, golf, go to sporting events and beg for campaign cash all over the country. Sure....he’s a real home body."

You forgot leaking classified information in your list.

Like he's the only President who's had children and a wife.Geez...

More like no one REALLY enjoys his company...and everything is simply political and they were all around BEFORE Obama....and really don't need him. It's not like he's at meetings all day long.....Meetings are for Czars...

Who wants to socialize with him? Not me. Even his secret service is paid to be with him. But the guy’s got more free time than the guy who lives under the bridge.

Might explain his lack of social skills.

I can relate to your comments about your Dad. My father was born in 1904, in Holland. Came to the US with his parents and two brothers in 1912. My Dad never made it past 4th grade. Not sure what year it was, but he went to work on the NY Central Railroad as a laborer.

Over the years, he became a track foreman, and had a crew of men with him. He'd get up every morning between 4 & 5, and work all day, getting home at about 4:30 p.m. We never had a car, so he always walked, or took the bus to work and back. We all ate supper together at 5 p.m. every night. Every Saturday my Dad made sauce, and even though I watched him week after week, I've never been able to make it the way he did. On Sundays, he always made a big dinner for us, and we all ate together. My Dad was a much better cook than our mother.

After supper each weekday evening, the kitchen table would be spread with the railroad paperwork he had to fill out for the track repairs that had been done during the day. It was my first introduction to carbon paper, because everything had to be filled out by hand in triplicate.

During the winter, he worked plenty of overtime clearing the tracks. He'd finish his regular work day, then go to bed right after supper, and get up at midnight to work through the night and all the next day, not getting home until 4 or 5 p.m. again. That schedule continued throughout each winter. There were four of us kids, and he would never let our mother go to work. Even with all the hours he worked through the 50 plus years he worked for the railroad, I don't think he ever cleared $10,000 a year gross. I was lucky to have had him as my father.

That picture comes from one of my favorite Rod Serling shows.

This man was only interested in reading and spent his days underground in the stacks in the library.

There is an attack on the USA and he is the last person left on earth.

He doesn’t care because he is only interested in reading.

In the next scene he stumbles while going down the stairs of the library and his very thick glasses break into a million pieces.

I have never forgotten that episode, and have been thinking about it lots lately.

THANK YOU for that image!

I have no idea...but I bet it is. Burgess Merideth is a lowly bank teller in danger of losing his job because he is caught reading when he should be working. He escapes into the vault at lunch to read when the nuclear attack occurs leaving him as an unlikely survivor. He finds a hardware store and retrieves a gun and is ready to end it all when he sees the ruins of the library and realizes he is in nervana...until he reaches over to pick up one more book when his glasses fall off and shatter...and now he can’t even find the gun again. It was a fabulous episode.

well sorry ...I still call eating with kids a great social life.

It's a "cultural" thing. He considers children punishment.

“I have no social life’: Obama says he spurns parties so he can eat dinner with daughters and help with homework.”

Considering the fact he has hidden his college transcripts and by his own admission, lived most of his youth in a drug induced fog, I doubt very seriously Obama is capable of helping his daughters with their homework.

He has traveled non-stop campaigning since taking office. His daughters are stage props at best. He is a total fraud and a liar.
