Really, why do people impolitely burden the bride and groom by bringing the gifts to the wedding? According to the rules of etiquette, gifts should be sent to the bride’s home before the wedding. It gives her a chance to open the gifts, send out her thank you notes, and figure out what goes where.

Bringing the gifts to the wedding allows jerks like this to steal and it gives the couple something else to worry about.
