Vice President Joe Biden claimed Sunday that Mitt Romney, the Republican presidential nominee, might engage in war with Syria and Iran if elected president in November.
"He said it was a mistake to end the war in Iraq and bring all of our warriors home," Biden said at a campaign stop in Pennsylvania. "He said it was a mistake to set an end date for our warriors in Afghanistan and bring them home. He implies by the speech that he's ready to go to war in Syria and Iran."

By telling the bug out date for Afghanistan, Obama gave a losing Taliban a reason to keep fighting and he has caused this rash of killings of our troops by supposed friendlies.
The bad guys are dressing up in uniforms to get a ride to Islam heaven before there are no more troops to shoot, plus some friendlies are going bad now so they are on the right side when the Taliban get back in power. Obama is a stinker.
They need to put this guy in a sound-proof booth. He has never thought logically. Maybe that is why he plagerized his book or thesis—I forget which. I haven’t heard about it in the last 15 yrs.
What a strange thing for Joe to be saying. This is on the order of Republicans wanting dirty air and water, or to push Grandma over the cliff.
The LAST thing anyone should want is another war in the Middle East. It was precisely to STOP war in the Middle East that we even intervened in the first place. Remember the murderous border skirmishes between Iraq and Iran?
Now that we have withdrawn from Iraq, we no longer have the pincer position we once held over Iran. That in itself raises the spectre that Iran will either launch an attack, or provoke another country into launching an attack upon them, so they could “repel” the aggressor.
There are no easy answers, Joe. Otherwise, you wouldn’t even be TALKING about foreign policy this way.
