How about the Toledo Blade, how did that get it’s name?
A lot of folks get confused now, for some reason there are a lot of homo newspapers that call themselves “The Blade”. I guess those come from “gay blade”, but I might be wrong about that.
Too bad for that great old paper, everyone thinks they are gay.
I know the newspapers are dying, I’m helping them die and I’m hoping some of them die (NY Times, this means you). But another part of me has always loved them. I’ll comfort myself with thinking it’s their leftism that’s killing them, even though I know it’s mostly technology.
