SYLVA, N.C. - Many protests have been planned ahead of the upcoming Democratic National Convention in North Carolina and several illegal immigrants are planning to join them.
The "Undoc-bus" will bring undocumented immigrants from Arizona to Charlotte.
"They're just asking for justice, you know, dignity," said bus driver Juan Lozano.
"How would you feel to be identified everyday for being undocumented?" said Natally Cruz. "Everyday we have a bus that leaves from Phoenix to Mexico, deporting, separating a mother, a father -- everyday."
Cruz says life as an undocumented person is not easy. "I've been here 16 years...It's hard, being..knowing the fact that one day you may not return home. And you know, the worst feeling ever is I have a 7-year-old."
When asked about the tax payers being the ones who have to carry her, so to speak, Cruz replied, "We pay taxes all the time. We go grocery shopping..we pay taxes..anywhere we go, we pay taxes, so I don't understand where they're coming from..that we're burdening the tax system."

Oh boo hoo.
"I've been here 16 years...It's hard, being..knowing the fact that one day you may not return home."
Ever try, in all of those 16 years, to become a legal citizen?
"And you know, the worst feeling ever is I have a 7-year-old."
Human shield.
The circus is in town
The federal government does not tax the income and capital gains of residents in those states?
This seriously pisses me off. Instead of these lawbreakers being rounded up and deported as THE LAW would dictate, the democrats will use them as props and welcome them with open arms.
