The actor lives here. He purchased the home in 1994 for just under $7M from singer Kenny Loggins.

Ronald Reagan was once the head of the Screen Actors Guild,
basically the actor’s union.
Yeah and this union boss got out of it didn’t he? In fact RR’s political view was formed by his having witnessed the communist infiltration of Hollywood.
Bridges may indeed be a died in the wool Red but as Clint Eastwood said there are still many good people in Hollywood, they just need to keep their cards close to their vest.
Think about that last statement. They need to keep their cards close to their vest, why? The point is made, you have to find a way to be dumb as in silent with respect to politics or you have to feign an allegiance to Leftist party think. The alternative, if you want to stay in the game there, is to be a true believer and I am not sure the Left has many in their elite actor ranks that are true believers; most are actors who have been given leftist lines. I firmly believe that if the unions there were controlled by conservatives, then Hollywood would be putting out nonstop bedrock American value films.
A way to break the union hold over political puppeteering in Hollywood is to have conservative talent and investment in Indie films. To be truthful there is not a lot of this right now.
I am willing to look past *young* actors falling into lock step with the Left in Hollywood because it seems so credible and tempting to a young mind starting out. As John Wayne said “Socialism is a Con”.
Many times when you see actors look like this is because they are preparing for a role. Val Kilmer is huge(fat) right now-face look like it is about to explode but he said he gained the mass weight for a current role he is working on.
People are still wanting to see the movies..theatre attendance is down due to high $$ of tickets and it is just cheaper to wait until it comes out on PPV for $4(for the whole family to watch).
We have gone from viewing movies at a theatre to PPV and DVD's.
The three Bridges served honorably in the Coast Guard/Reserve and I thank them for their service.
I liked him with Eastwood in Thunderbolt and Lightfoot. George Kennedy was great too as operator of an ice cream truck...”Hey kid. Go F... a duck.
He's using the old Shelley Winter's excuse.
Psst. Hey buddy, wanna buy a bridge? (VK has been a lard bucket for years...)
ouch! that will leave a mark!
“Val must have been preparing for that role for the last 15 years. “
I recall seeing a picture of him when he attended Dennis Hopper’s funeral. I thought it was a picture of Chas Bono, I kid you not. I was surprised when I read the caption and found out who it really was.
“Well, all I can say to a mansion like that is this:
The Dude abides.”
And, so I’ve been told, the rug ties the whole place together.
Darn! I just watched “Thunderbolt and Lightfoot” again last night. (with Clint Eastwood, too..haha).
He really was one of my favorite actors.
Hope Jeff Goldblum keeps his political mouth shut. (I know he’s been a dem in the past.)
Interesting you should say that.
Cher actually had a well-known affair with Kilmer back in the day.
When I look at Chas I see Val.
Hasn’t it been renamed the Film Actors Guild (you know, LGBT solidarity and all that)?
