The big act of four years ago is burned out, and the paparazzi of political glitz are lowering the bar, way down on the down low, where Obama’s peeps can identify. After a term of perceived godhood, it is time to drag their idol through the muck of humanity, and call him human. See, he is just a man with faults and warts, and his crap stinks like ours. I have a different take on this: they are beginning to distance themselves from him and start the argument for the democraps’ loss to Mitt and Paul in that it wasn’t their policies, it was because Obummer was too aloof. The ‘journos’ are starting a CYA.

First, he fantasized about his missing father, making him into a larger than life hero, He has now simply transferred this myth onto his own sense of “self”. In his head, he is the (imaginary) superhero that he pretended his dad was. This may be where that inflated ego came from.
