I don't know about loving them, but I do feel sorry for them. They've been crying for the one thing they need since the 1980s, and they can't get it from the people of the United States because it isn't ours to give.
They've been crying for a sense of peace that comes from knowing they're OK. And they're not OK. And nothing we can do will make them OK, not ignoring them, not accepting them, not allowing them to marry, not teaching falsehoods in our schools.
They want the peace of God, and they can't have that until they align themselves with God. Until they figure that out, they can never be happy.
We are called by Jesus to love our enemies. That doesn’t mean we have to like what they do, though.
It is that, exactly. We had a young man in our Bible Study group who had left the gay lifestyle, given his life to the Lord, was making his way in the world. He said that every day every gay person wakes up KNOWING in their heart that it is wrong.
