When BO found out, all he could do was claim credit for it or denounce it, and the latter would have had him out before the election.
Maybe sensitive info is touched upon, but by announcing that, the administration let everyone know and the book is sure to sell smartly to the jihaditypes, too.

I’m three chapters into it. The preface was a well written description of how the author used a former Spec Ops Lawyer to review the entire manuscript for any classified material. The author also takes into account how his Brothers may feel about the whole thing. My guess... We are watching an OP that is being run on this administration by some of the best in the world.
And why were the armchair generals and REMF at the Pentagon not complaining about their Dear Leader when mere HOURS after the raid, he went public (for crass political purposes) thereby, negating any chance to act of timely actionable Intel the SEALS more than likely, captured at the compound?
Even worse, was making public which group (SEAL Team 6) was responsible for carrying out the raid.
It will remain to be seen (and should be very obvious from reading) what if any, sensitive details the author has revealed. Until I read it and see reaction from other SPECOP types, I'll withhold judgement.
