It’s impossible for me to convey how *sick* I am of seeing this blatant lie repeated on FR. My personal opinion on Mitt the Lesser may be softening; I do love my country, but this accusation that people whose conscience won’t allow them to vote for a stealth liberal are in some convoluted way “supporting Obama” really needs to die. The “ABRs”, whomever they choose to cast their ballot for, will be voting AGAINST the Empty Chair. Just because some of us can’t stomach the idea of compromising on basic principles and voting for a sodomite supporting, abortionist enabling, big-government liberal republican, does not justify the lies that some of you continue to repeat. DON’T WORRY ABOUT MY VOTE. Go cast your own.

I’m as conservative as they come. There are no more than a handful of Republicans that I don’t find too liberal. Never thought I would vote for much less work for Romney. If Obama wins, America is finished. He won’t be worried about winning any more elections. The past 3 years is just a tiny taste of what is to come. It would be foolish to sit this one out. DO whatever you can. GIVE whatever you can. No regrets.

A pompous sanctimonious self righteous self described conservative that puts himself above the country is not really part of the country but a stranger just wandering about

Don’t just read titles!

When you're a Romney supporter, reading the titles is all you CAN do, because you're a shallow, non-thinking moron.

Romney’s greatest liability is abortion.
I sure am glad there is only one issue to be considered!

Here’s another fallacy - that voting for Romney is somehow going to “save” the country because “at least he’s not Obama.”

“Obama’s going to destroy the country!!!!!” we always hear. “At least Romney will be teachable!!!!” we always hear.

Here’s a question I have asked these ABO Romney supporters a number of times, and have yet to find one who could man up and actually answer it:

If Romney is elected, do you think he’d do anything different from Obama, at a liberty level? And if so, then what (besides wishful thinking) is your basis for that opinion?

Will Romney roll back the gun control laws in this country?

Will Romney do anything to stop the TSA overreach and abuse, the VIPR program, or anything else in the “security circus”

Will Romney roll back the abuses and overreaches in the PATRIOT Act?

Will Romney work to repeal the Food Safety Modernisation Act, which basically allows (and has already been used for this) the government to prevent people from producing food on their own private land, even if just for personal consumption?

Will Romney do anything about Agenda 21?

Will Romney refrain from using the powers the government has granted itself to indefinitely detain American citizens on American soil, if they are accused of “terrorism”?

Will Romney eliminate the “czars” instead of continuing them as an institution?

I usually post at night, between midnight and 2 am, I get a lot of work done at this time and “sneak over” to Free Republic. Today, I'm up earlier posting. It seems that a lot of people don't think many who post here are still not voting for Romney. Yet at night we sometimes have down right nasty fights about people not being “real conservatives” if they vote for R&R. Maybe different types of people post at different times— interesting. The title was an attempt to get people to read an alternative view by drawing them in with a provocative title. Any Mod can feel free to change it. I need to sign off for now, be back tonight!

I'm glad to see more people voting for R&R. With Mr. Robinson's Aug. 20th post, which I just was alerted to, I feel much better about conservatives coming together.

One of the real problems is with the appointments he will almost assuredly get to make to the Supreme Court.

At worst Obama may be able to replace Ginsburg with another liberal because the conservative Justices on the court will never retire if Obama is reelected.

However if Romney is elected he will almost assuredly get to name replacements for Scaalia and Kennedy, who will be on the court for forty more years.

Not voting for liberal Romney appointing liberal justices altering the balance of the court for 40 years is something I have no problem answering to God about.

If you value Life, the 2nd amendment, the 1st amendment and this country allowing a liberal to appoint liberal justices is insanity in my view....

Your grand kids may one day curse you but all these and more thank you

My grand kids will curse those short sighted Republicans who give them a liberal Supreme Court far into the future.

The title is the descriptor, period. Use it a such. Most don’t have the time to play esoteric games with what is at hand.

My point is that as of now, anyone who votes for anyone other than Romney/Ryan is in essence voting for Obama. We who are truly terrified about the near term future of our country should not be playing games with those idiots who feel voting for anyone else is making some kind of learned point. The only point evidenced is the one on the top of their head.

If say you want to advance a truly conservative agenda at the next window of opportunity, then lets have at it on starting the agenda for 2014. But, that comes after getting the fargin Kenyan out of our house.

So, to keep it short and sweet, I will not play esoteric games with those fools except to make a statement with a question mark as I did on my first response and then if they want to argue, I answer again the same with a period. If they further want to argue, I repeat until they figure out there is no argument.

Thanks for the URL while I was copying and pasting Mr. Mod, if you want to delete my post #21 which is now redundant, feel free.

This part of it isn't redundant and may be a good idea:

And I might suggest having the mods edit your title to 'Real Conservatives Can't MUST Vote Romney/Ryan'. I think you unintentionally are sending out two messages here.

If you want to draw people into the discussion who won't read anything except the title, leave it as is. ;-)

they may not retire, but they can certainly DIE, and the only spring chickens sitting up there are the hardcore leftists. the sup ct is the most important thing in my estimation and leaving it to Obama to replace them is folly.
