Country
Family
Job
Other
I don’t see government mentioned, do you?
I agree.
I belong to no government.
Family before country for me.
The family is the first institution created by God after Man was created.
Your mileage may vary according to your worldview, as we can see with these godless folks.
Biden was just testing the message when he said “They want to put y’all in chains”. The Democrats think all Americans are slaves chained to the public plow. Slavery is their idea of Freedom.

I don’t know...I watched this clip 3 times and I didn’t take it that way. I took it to mean we all play a part in our government. But I don’t think it’s the ONLY thing we all belong to.

That whole “draft” thing didn’t come to my mind, because I’m so far out of eligibility.
However, IIRC, even during draft times, if the family lacked a father, they provided an exemption for a son to take care of the family. Also, the whole point of “Saving Private Ryan” was that he was the last surviving son of that family.

The mom-in-chief would be pleased with how you "take" it.
We don't "play a part" in government, except that we consent to be governed. Of course we get opportunities to choose by whom we are governed... at least for now.
The words have meaning, ignore the modifiers, just read the basic declaration: Government is the thing we belong to.
Do you still take it otherwise?
Of course the titular head of the Dims could have had the words changed to "We are the government and you all belong to us."
But then that might have a greater impact on his "last" (as he whispered to Medvedev) election.
The Dims need to be made to eat their words, all of them.
I haven’t been “government property “ since I got out of the Army. I have no desire to be returned to that status.
It is so disgusting to hear the Leftists croon their God and Country lullabny to the delegates at the DNC convention as a cover up for their true anti-Ameweican intent! What is particularly sickening is watching the Lemmings rapt in wonder as they hang on every word, being willingly led down a very tragic path.
