11-yr-old pro-life girl brought to tears by pro-abortion activists outside DNC Convention

September 4, 2012 (StandTrue.com) - I want you to meet my friend and fellow abortion abolitionist, 11-year-old Zoe Griffin. In a world when grown adults ignore, deny or just don’t care about the abortion holocaust that has claimed over 55 million of Zoe’s generation, she is willing to take a stand no matter what people think. Zoe joined her mother and friends to lay thousands of roses outside the site of the Democratic convention and pray for the babies, the politicians and this generation.

While Zoe was praying, pro-abortion activists who claim to stand up for women began to belittle and scream at Zoe for her stand for life. What is so sad is that one of the women who did this to Zoe, Sunsara Taylor, is a well know anti-porn activist who claims to be against the degradation of women. I guess just not 11-year-olds who believe that women should not be dehumanized by the abortion industry.

Why or why not? Are you basing your opinion emotionally, or logically? The girl was 11, being with her mom, learning what it is to be a young woman, to be a future Godly mother ;for menarche for her will soon occur for her if it hasn’t already. A girl needs to start to understand her potential for life bearing right about that time and our society’s fractured spirit concerning the family! The girl wasn’t a 3 year old for goodness sakes!

The girl will be just fine and given what came from her heart...a direct rebuke from the Holy Ghost, the pro aborts were shown grace and mercy compared to what could have happened to them! The pro aborts were doing wickedly and you want to blame the mom?

Our own nation may be facing a blood bath and possible destruction and what of our children? How shall we protect them?

We may be teaching our kids to “aim small, miss small!”

Well said, powerful and correct! Thank you for your insight...

Death is a celebration; a “welcome to your eternal home”, in fact. This is not real “life”; this is but a shadow. Jesus said that our highest expression of love (marriage) doesn’t even exist in Heaven; that’s how much of a pale shade our world is.

True, death here is sad for those left behind; however, I’m teaching my kids it’s a celebration that those folks who are believers in Jesus Christ that are called home by God himself, rewarded, and told “Well done, my good and faithful servant”.

11 year old girls shouldn't be involved in either side of the debate. Sheesh, let them be kids just a little longer??

Have to disagree with you. This girl is standing in the line of fire at this time and in a way she will always remember. It will motivate her even more as she grows and matures.

I was 12 years old when I and my younger brother who was 10 together with a few other kids our age joined WWII and WWI era adults (parents could not attend) - some of them vets --about 20 of us in all to counterprotest the 2nd Moratorium against the War in Vietnam, held in Washington, DC on November 15, 1969.

We took a 3.5 hour charter bus ride from South Jersey to DC and witnessed a swarm of 10's of thousands of anti-war protesters, hippies, Communists screaming their chants, Viet Cong flags everywhere, US flags inverted and being desecrated - some being stomped on the ground, burned and torn. This were the "Occupy DC" protesters of almost 40+ years ago.

Our march went straight into the fray, carrying placars calling for Victory in Viet Nam, and carrying our US flags proudly. We had insults and objects thrown at us from all directions. Cops kept us separated from our antagonists. Their insults just steeled our resolve.

Our march intimately took us across the bridge to Arlington and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where we held a small rally and had prayer calling for Victory in Vietnam.

That night, on our way out, trying to exit DC it was complete gridlock. We soon realized that we were caught in the midst of a riot, complete with all the smash, snatch, and grab. Shots rang out. I watched a store front get its window smashed by a guy with what appeared to be a metal pole.

We made our way out of DC slowly up and out New York Ave, and finally onto the highway for the 3.5 hour trek back.

I was too young to fight in Vietnam, and we all know how that eventually turned out, but I know where I was November 15, 1969, and at 3 separate Marches held later in DC calling for for Victory in Viet Nam in 1970 and 1971.

Sure, kids will be kids. Some grow up faster than others and some learn at an early age what it means to take a stand and to keep and eye on who our enemy is and what his tactics are.

This 11-year old lives on the back side of massacre of 55 million of hers and my generation since 1973. She's on the front line. She's taking this cause seriously at a young age, even as my kids did when they were growing up. I never hid the horror of abortion and what it is and what it entails from them.

And I support this girl completely. Every adult on this board, including her parents should support her too.

She will eventually be one who effectively changes hearts and minds because she has internalized the cause. She has stood in the gap, and she has been counted, herself, among those who care for the lives of the unborn.

FReegards!

“regardless of when they “converted” to that position, or otherwise
came to it.” Maybe they were born with it, as we are all, into sweet innocence.
