Bill Clinton's Sham Night
The American Spectator ^ | September 6, 2012 | Ben Stein

Posted on 09/06/2012 4:15:56 AM PDT by Cincinatus' Wife

........wait a minute, Professor Warren. Who do you think owns corporations? Who do you think have their retirement funds invested with corporations? Who do you think benefits if corporations do well?........

This idea that corporations are somehow non-human is just stupid. Isn't she a Professor at Harvard Law School? What's going on there?

Plus, Ms. Warren had the strange habit of pressing her tongue against her lips and cheeks as if she were mimicking a sex act. That was unnerving.

But it was a good introduction for Bill Clinton. This cracker snake oil salesman....immediately began to lecture the Republicans about how immoral they are. Yes!!!! This man, who had a college intern give him oral sex in the Oval Office while he was on the phone with a Congressional Committee Chair, who inserted.....

It is art.

This man, credibly accused of something very like sexual assault, is cheered to the rafters by the women at the DNC. It is fantastic. This is not grist for the political analyst. It is grist for the psychoanalyst.

...Mr. Clinton basically said, "Those vicious scumbag lying, heartless vampire, murdering Republicans… we try to be kind to them and love them and they still are the same lying murdering thieving scumbags they always were. See how mightily nice we are to these bastards and still they don't want to work with us."

.....I could not help notice how utterly different the people at the DNC looked from the ones at the RNC. One group was blond, happy looking, contented looking. The others looked as if they could not wait for the tumbrels, an entire convention of Mesdames Defarge.

There are different tribes in America. Some are happy. Some are furious. I want the ones who are happy to run things.

When Clinton wagged his finger and intoned, “No one ...not me... not any of my predecessors...”, I had an instant flashback to, “I never had sex with that woman, Miss Lewinsky...”.

The latter case was PROVEN to be a baldfaced lie; can we have a little “fact-check” from the AP on Clinton’s speech last night?

Yeah. Right.

He lied under oath. That’s all we need to know.

an entire convention of Mesdames Defarge.

Great line. And an enduring image of the RAT party.

Don’t forget to add that he released the oil in the federal oil reserve (meant to be stockpiled in case of war or national emergency) and flooded the market with cheap oil. This stimulated the economy at the expense of national security.

I don’t know the aftermath, but I will bet it was replenished under Bush, which would have been a drag on the economy during his Presidency.

Bill Clinton also transferred missile technology to the Chinese.

Didn’t watch Slick, I’ve only seen a few clips.

What I have seen reminds me of when he tried to convince people Robert Byrd didn’t join the KKK because he wanted to, he joined the KKK because he HAD to.

Completely unbelievable except to idiots that want to believe it.

My guess is that Ben Stein was thinking of Kathleen Willey.

It also drives me crazy that our side has let the prosperity during most of the Bush term get re-written as hard times.

The liberals OWN the communication industries.

NOTHING will change until we get them back!

Excellent post!

And that is why they hate conservatives. They hate you because you are killers of their dream.

Right on, they're like drug addicts, and they're beginning to sense we are going to take their drugs away.

That makes November 2012 an intervention, doesn't it?

If he didn't say it, HE DIDN'T SAY IT.
The author puts it in quotes.

We have enough against Clinton, Obama and liberals that we don't need to make up quotes.

Excellent. REAL quotes.
Not made up quotes where the author paraphrases somebody, puts it in quotes, and tries to get by with “He basically said ...”

Hell, I can use Obama’s Janesville speach itself to refute the claim that Paul Ryan lied. All I have to do is play it and the liberals shut up.

The “You didn’t build that” tape speaks for itself.

You’ve proven yourself that it’s not difficult to get REAL quotes.

I read Clinton's speech. I was shocked. It's just a bunch of bromides. Unbelievably shallow.

I guess he did his duty, but his heart wasn't in it.

Wow! I just got home and on the Yahoo AT&T homepage there is a factcheck which pretty much labels Bill for the LIAR that he is. What a surprise!
