All Freepers and lurkers in good standing are invited to join me this Sunday morning in a special Space Coast freep of President Barack Hussein Obama II.
Doors open at 8:30 a.m. at the Florida Institute of Technology venue, so I'll be setting up about 7 a.m. as folks will be arriving early to get in line.
When: 7 a.m. until after the event (freep 'em coming and going!) Sunday, September 9, 2012.
Where: Northwest corner of Babcock St. and University Blvd. Melbourne, Florida.
Bring: American and Gadsden flags, signs, water and sunscreen. (7-11 nearby for coffee, snacks.)
Parking: You're on your own.
As always the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
A couple signs I'd love to see several of displayed: Obama lied, NASA died
The One Big (DNC Jackass symbol) Mistake America

Live Twitter feed, or whatever in the heck you call it. Some photos and short videos of protesters on this, if somebody can figure out how to post them here. I would, but have other obligations this morning, and gotta get off line.
Hopefully others will do the same wherever Obama goes between now and election day.
Short break in my business here and checked the Twitter feed for the event. Reporter covering protest outside says in his Tweet that there are more than 100 protesters now, on all 4 corners of intersection. Obama not to arrive for another hour and a half. Strong opposition to Obama down there. Good work! Will check back later...
headcount around 360.

Hey.... im a grad student at FIT.. :0(
Great! I’d love to hear a report on how the students felt about all the goings-on. There were a few foreign students about on Sunday who looked somewhat amused at what was happening. Hearing about their impressions would be nice too.
You were correct. There are many clueless foreign students. They are bright, but not politically engaged..
Yeah, with my left ankle torn-up, and a broken computer.
Tryin' to catch up now ........................................ FRegards
