More than 70,000 people have signed a online petition calling on CNN to fire contributor Erick Erickson for an offensive tweet.

“First night of the Vagina Monologues in Charlotte going as expected,” Erickson, who is also the editor of RedState.com, tweeted on Tuesday, referring to the opening day of the Democratic National Convention.

I had no idea Erick Erickson was even on CNN. When did that happen? I tune in now and then and have never seen him. I’ve heard him only on radio.

Please don't tell me that these people were offended by Erickson's tweet. Leftists love The Vagina Monologues and they are quite happy to use vaginas as symbols.

And that is a very good point....

Here we have the "party" that swears up and down..they are the party for women. Yet the 2012 Dim Convention keynote speaker is none other than Bill Clinton...impeached for lying about sex in the oval office with a subservient volunteer intern.

Actions have consequences. I’m not a big fan of Erickson, having heard him live on the radio on numerous occasions. He’s a guy that makes a lot of noise about ill-considered opinions.

No, I thought it was worth a smile. Not much above HS locker-room humor but still better than what some so-called comedians come up with. A long time ago a guy I didn't even like much told me that good humor, things we think are funny, often involve something a little painful or embarrassing to someone else.
