BRITAIN'S Ministry of Defence says Prince Harry has returned to Afghanistan to fly Apache attack helicopters during a four-month tour of combat duty.
The 27-year-old who is third in line to the British throne looked relaxed, if slightly tired on Friday, and gave a thumbs-up after a long journey on a standard troop flight from England.
Capt Harry Wales, as he is known, wore his combat uniform upon arrival and joined his 100-strong unit - the 662 Squadron, 3 Regiment Army Air Corps.

“wore his combat uniform” - Was that necessary? Yep.
“What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.” Unless you’re a prince then what happens in Vegas gets you sent to Afghanistan.
Reporters do what reporters do. And as it’s a reporter, anything less than No. l Dress with sword, is probably seen as combat uniform.
"'Let's go seek safety in battle."
I like him.
He’s a fine young man - if not always as wise as he could be.
LOL Good he is being punished. :) At least he is a man. A naked one but a man.
That kinda goes along with being a young man - says the guy with brothers and sons. Young men tend to do, well, stupid ... "stuff". How does that old saying go: good decisions come from experience, experience comes from bad decisions...
I like him too! He’s very cute and very brave. And he was hurt by really bad “friends.”
The press is making way too much of this. He’s a young man in his 20s. He went ot Vegas. He had some fun with a girl. Now he’s back to work defending his country and the West. We don’t need a million stories about it or how mad his family is. Screw them. While I think the whole “royal family” should not be on the public teet, if the UK is going to have them, I like this guy better than the others.
Me too. And look what the kid had to grow up with. His parents’ indiscretions all over the press and his mother dead in a car accident, also all over the press.
I’d excuse a lot. He’s goodhearted and brave.
There are men and then there are Choombamas.
No indication whether this deployment was scheduled before the "embarrassing incident".
And he does seem like the best of the younger royals and a good percentage of young guys have had similar "experiences". And it's not just the famous who now run the risk of being videoed in some wilder moment. It's just a matter of how far and wide the videos might be distributed. But anyone can end up somewhere online, as has been proven often.
Hell of a man, IMHO.
It was scheduled before, and the 'embarrassing incident' might well have partly occurred because of it. He was on his final leave before returning to a combat situation - he wanted to have some fun and felt he was entitled to it. He trusted the wrong people.
BB looks fine and so does Harry.
I am somewhat concerned for Harry’s well being, because it has become blindingly obvious that Prince Charles is not his father, who is instead a former Captain in the British Household Cavalry named James Hewitt, who had an admitted and proven five year affair with Princess Diana.
Prince Harry looks just like him.

The trouble is, that after Prince Charles and Prince William, Prince Harry is currently third in line for the throne.
So there is at least some possibility that the Queen will arrange for Harry to meet a “heroic end” in combat. At least as the official story.
In truth, some scoundrel will just sabotage his helicopter.
