George Zimmerman's defense team wants educational and disciplinary records for Trayvon Martin, the Miami Gardens teen Zimmerman shot Feb. 26 in Sanford, according to a new post on the defense's blog.
Zimmerman's team posted this morning that it has begun its discovery process, issuing several subpoenas aimed at gathering records on Trayvon's school history dating back to middle school.

They probably can’t get his school records. School records are now wrapped up in layer upon layer of “student privacy” laws (I think written to prevent embarrassing revelations about the college years of the Clintons).

I can’t see how academic records (grades and test scores) would be relevant, but disciplinary records certainly are.
The only redeeming thing about Travon’s untimely demise is the people he might have killed are still alive and the children he would have sired have not been conceived.
George Zimmerman did more of a public service than one sees at the surface.

The prosecution is doing what Johnnie Cochran insisted the OJ prosecutors were doing: trying to railroad a black man.
Judge will have to release records to defense team. If not, any conviction will be overturned on appeal because they denied discovery
The Black Racists will whine about this, but this is not an unusual type of request, especially when there is already credible evidence that Martin had disciplinary issues at school
Of course they are. By simply being there. So far it appears the forensics will prove whom the true aggressor is. And then there's the 911 recording telling GZ to report back on what TM was doing. Tough to do if you leave the scene.

Trayvon was 5’11” and weighed 158#. George was 5’8” and weighed 204#. Who was the big guy?
Trayvon had two tattoos, none were on his face. One tattoo, on his wrist, was his mother’s name.
George has two tattoos. One tattoo, on his chest, is the name of his cousin who has accused him of sexual assault: CHRISTINA. Some here will argue that he really meant to have his grandmother’s name there but he is a poor speller and has ADHD, thus he got it wrong.

Only Zimmerman's grades were released - and they were far from impressive. I'd like to see all his records. Why was he shipped off to Florida as soon as he got out of high school?
And I'd like to see Zimmerman's . . . but ooops, they didn't do one. He's on a heavy-duty drug cocktail of uppers and downers . . . was he abusing his meds?

The ME measured TM at 5'11" LONG not tall. There is shrinkage post mortem which means that he was taller than 5'11" when he was puttin the "whupaz" on his victim, probably closer to 6'2".
Zimmerman was an out of shape guy - I’m 5’8”, and I’m overweight at 175. At 200+...I’d be heavy, but not in a good way.
Interesting posting history you got there... Nothing from October 2005 until you re-appeared in April 2012 to play apologist for the late unlamented Trayvon.

then Benjamin Crump and his associates would not have had the opportunity for another notorious scam or be facing obstruction of justice charges for their tampering with evidence in this case.
So we know that Trayvon was into "Knockouts." "Extreme Fighting," "Gang-Banging," had drugs in his system, was tattooed, had gold grillwork, has a long Twitter history as "No Limits Nigga," etc. etc. None of which may effect the jury, which may be an OJ-type jury.
My bet? This goes away after the election. The Mombasa MF wins, Zimmerman goes up on Federal Civil Rights charges. Milquetoast Mitt takes the match, (for which the none-too-swift democrat Zimmerman had better be praying) it could just all go away.
