George Zimmerman's defense team wants educational and disciplinary records for Trayvon Martin, the Miami Gardens teen Zimmerman shot Feb. 26 in Sanford, according to a new post on the defense's blog.
Zimmerman's team posted this morning that it has begun its discovery process, issuing several subpoenas aimed at gathering records on Trayvon's school history dating back to middle school.

If they are going to push the story that he shot a poor innocent boy on his way home from choir proctice I think they MUST be forced to give out this info
Trayvon was a budding young THUG and his records would prove it.
Zimmerman served up some justice. I am glad poor choirboy realized his ass was SHOT before he keeled over (no I do NOT have any sympathy for him or his loser family)

They probably can’t get his school records. School records are now wrapped up in layer upon layer of “student privacy” laws (I think written to prevent embarrassing revelations about the college years of the Clintons).

With a subpoena. Schools can't assert privilege. Executive or otherwise.

Nonsense. It means "Win The Future" - Trayvon was evidently a big Obama supporter.
I can’t see how academic records (grades and test scores) would be relevant, but disciplinary records certainly are.
The only redeeming thing about Travon’s untimely demise is the people he might have killed are still alive and the children he would have sired have not been conceived.
George Zimmerman did more of a public service than one sees at the surface.
