The only thing that might be surprising as Obama and the University of Iowas disrespect of the American flag is that they didnt replace the 50 stars with a hammer and sickle, or just Obamas face like some others have done. Check out what the Obama campaign and University of Iowa did today to the American flag earlier today (From The Blaze photo credit University of Iowa):

“
At first the University apologized for this disrespect, but then they later backtracked and claimed that there was a tarp under the flag. Can you see a tarp? Neither can I.”

Even with a tarp under the flag it is wrong.
.
It’s free speech. Now if it was a Mexican flag, well .....
Only Korans and Moslems are protected in America under
the undocumented Moslem tyrant and his treasonous Congress
which loves him for it.
The main University phone number is 319-335-3500.
So, are blanket parties unpatriotic?
America’s campuses are the modern hideouts of progressives trying to do what the communists failed at. They still do not see that every communist government is a failed state.
Some things never change - and anti-American communists like Obama are definitely in that category.
I stopped long ago sending money to my Alma Mater. Conservatives are second class citizens in Iowa City.
Did he have any and all references to GOD and CHRIST removed from the campus????????

University of Iowa President Sally Mason:
Why was it on the ground? Did it remain there for an event? Did someone stand one it?
I don’t know their football schedule, but I hope they play Bama in Tuscaloosa on national TV just for grins.
Well, if they won’t play you, I guess we’ll have to.
The attempt to rationalizing their disrespect disgusts me. If the flag was to be removed it should have been properly folded and stored. Laying it on a tarp is no less unacceptable than laying it on the ground
Thanks for the email address. They’ve been duly served with my restrained remarks (I tried to be civil.) Oh, the rant I could go on...!
My questions as well.
Not good form, but I’d like to know more before getting to riled.
Also, was this intentionally disrespectful? Were they just ignorant and made a mistake? Did the University do this on its own? The students? Or did the Zero campaign do it or tell someone to do it?
I’m not pleased about putting the flag on the ground, but I think we have more substantial things to criticize.
