He who can deny you self-defense can deny you life
Unlike Mizzus Brady, whose husband VOLUNTARILY did his job, Mrs. Goeser has a good dose of common sense.
God bless her in her grief...and may she truly be successful. In all of her life.
It might have been better if she had not mentioned that she carries her gun in her purse, or leaves it in the console of her car...........
Maybe they should have published her address and license plate number, too.
An expensive throwing rock.
If it isn't loaded, it isn't a weapon, and it doesn't equalize anything unless people are intimidated by the sight of an unloaded revolver. (Yes, you can sometimes tell at close range.)
Still, she is beginning to get the idea.
The RIGHT TO SELF-DEFENSE is PARAMOUNT in The US CONSTITUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anytime you speak with the media in an effort to educate the public on these issues, you always stand the chance that the media will not be accurate. I unloaded my handgun for the photo shoot as I did not want the photographer handling a loaded gun (that is how accidents happen). My handgun stays loaded otherwise.
I would prefer to keep my legal, permitted handgun with me at all times but when you work in a place that bans them in the building, that is your only option. I am grateful that I can at least have the gun locked in my vehicle so I can be protected going to & from work (many places don’t even allow that). Of course you should never advertise that you carry or that you leave the gun in your car, but in my case, I am trying to educate as best as I can. I have to talk about these things so a discussion can be sparked about it. I think it is especially important to discuss this issue in an election year.
It was also a little disappointing that they did not mention that I was a permit holder at the time of Ben’s murder. Because of TN State Law at the time in 2009, I had to leave my legal, permitted gun locked in my vehicle that night. My husband’s killer was stalking me and brought a gun in illegally (no permit) and shot Ben 6 times in the middle of a busy restaurant in front of me (after management approached him asking him to leave at my request).

Yes it is, but the left never cared about the Constitution
Mrs. Goeser,
Thank you for posting here and for your efforts.
Basil, who posted an earlier commented was involved in the founding of the Second Amendment Sisters, and whose goals are the same as yours.
I was at the SAS rally in Washington DC. Was it really that long ago? Memories fade, but I do believe we met briefly, a grin and grip as it were on that hot day.
Anyway, since you both have worked with John Lott, I thought you might strengthen that tie and reinforce one another’s efforts.
Nikki,
Thank you for clarifying that. (I don't blame you for not handing the photographer a loaded weapon.)
I am further relieved that you carry an effective weapon.
I cannot imagine the Hell you went through, and can only pray you stay safe, and in time your spiritual wounds heal.
I applaud your efforts to educate the masses and wish you the greatest success.
You are not the only person to have local policy interfere with their defense of self and loved ones with tragic results (Suzanna Hupp comes to mind--at Luby's in Texas).
The issue needs to be brought forth, as permit holders are left defenseless or risk running afoul of the law time and time again so long as there is any assumption that crossing an imaginary line or a threshold turns the law-abiding into a menace to society.
May God Bless you with success.
Stay Safe, we need more like you.
