President Obama is appearing in yet another television commercial in the Massachusetts Senate race. This time, it was not produced by the Democratic candidate, Elizabeth Warren, but by the Republican, Senator Scott P. Brown.

The advertisement, which was scheduled to start running on Saturday, shows Mr. Obama praising Mr. Brown for sponsoring a bill to end insider trading in Congress. As Mr. Obama signs the measure into law, he thanks Mr. Brown, saying, “Good job.”

Brown is a RINO POS.

I can’t wait until his seat is up.

I knew Brown was scum when he stated his views on the sanctity of life.

Ending insider trading for members of Congress is a good thing?

If this were a Senator from a red state or even a swing state, it’d be treasonous. But this is deep blue Massachusetts. An ‘R’ in Mass is a bonus, and an extra vote for repeal Obamacare. So whatever it takes.

Brown's very far from perfect but he's a whole lot...A WHOLE LOT...better than Princess Liawatha. In our Senate race this year it's half a loaf versus a pile of crumbs beseiged by a thousand cockroaches.

Whatever it takes, except breaking the law, to keep Warren from having a term in the U. S. Senate, do it!

Eh. Brown’s doing what he has to do to win in a state like Massachusetts. Not my favorite Senator, but I’ll take him over Warren in a heartbeat. He’s been pretty good on economic and terrorism issues, and he *did* vote against Kagan’s nomination, which is more than some other Republican Senators can say. I don’t think we’ll elect better in Mass.

South Carolina, however, is a far different matter. Graham is overdue for a good primary challenge.

Yes, it would be far better if Elizabeth Warren wins. She’ll work much better with Obama when he’s reelected. /sarc

Actually, sometimes it’s good to adopt the enemy’s tactics if in the situation it makes sense. Liberals all the time run commercials that imply well-know conservatives appreciate them—just to get the vote of the ignorant who will think they’re voting for a conservative.

Turn about is fair play IMHO. For a Senator from liberal Massachusetts who was elected in a special election to fill a seat for only two years he’s voting with conservatives as much as he can. If he’s reelected to a six-year term in November, I expect his conservative rating will rise very substantially.

It’s a terrible thing. I want my Congressman to sell stock we both own based on privileged information that I don’t have. I want him to sell that stock while I’m left holding the bag. Yessiree, it’s a terrible thing not to allow them to use insider information.

With what part of his ad do you disagree?

Brown is a RINO POS.

I can’t wait until his seat is up.

Well, his seat is up this year. What of it? Do you support Fauxcahontas?

I can’t wait until his seat is up.

Would you prefer a Democrat? And please don't cough up that old "there's no difference" canard. We're talking about which party controls the Senate here.

If [Scott] is reelected to a six-year term in November, I expect his conservative rating will rise very substantially.

One thing we know for sure, though.

Scott will vote to repeal Obamacare!

He originally campaigned as "The 41st vote against Obamacare".

And that's good enough for me.....
