What happened to the fancy measuring equipment that was supposed to be coming from National Instruments?

I love how this former jail rat has solved the world's energy problems yet he doesn't know how it works.

National Instruments issued a couple of emails stating that they had never gotten beyond the standard "pre-sale" phase with Rossi, and they specifically denied ever working on a controller for him.

That was just another Rossi lie.

"I pinged Kevmo and WW to get their input. It is odd to see a Rossi article not posted by Kevmo."

I think Kevmo has abandoned FR in disgust over blatant stalking and the failure of the moderators to do something about that. I'm not too happy about the litany of lies and distortions that go on on these threads either.

Before that, both he and I decided to no longer post about Rossi, as the mere mention of the name brings even more knee-jerk nuts out of the woodwork than plain vanilla articles about cold fusion, as evidenced on this thread.

Despite the constant drumbeat to the contrary, neither of us gives a flying **** about Rossi. But we are interested in the broader area of LENR.

My opinion....Rossi.....as usual, inconclusive. Those whose minds (such as they have) are made up ahead of time will, as usual, do their "it's a scam" shouting.

My opinion....LENR as a whole....too much good news to keep up with, from NIWEEK to ICCF17 and many other venues. Only the most rabid anti-LENR types will continue to deny the reality of the science.

But those sorts will still be denying said reality when 90+% of civilization is powered by LENR reactors. After all, there are still people claiming the earth is flat.

I am currently in a major "work crunch" and simply don't have the time to do much posting/responding. Even this short note is taking up more time than I really have to spare. And as things are going, that "free time" isn't going to get larger any time soon. As typically happens, two or three long-term projects are "coming together" at the same time, despite having been started at widely varying points.

I always look at it this way. It’s always good to be too busy than not busy enough. I used to tell my staff that if they have nothing to do, I will find them something to do and it won’t be something they want to do.

I read in a management book years ago that you should spend 80% on your current assignments and 20% looking for the next ones. I was always on the lookout for the best projects and usually got them.

You’re right about Rossi, he’s a lightning rod but it was an E-cat conference.

Kevmo’s gone??? Was he banned or just left??? He gave as good as he got so I don’t feel too bad about him although who is going to post LENR, LANR info?

I see Defkalion has produced nothing but press releases. Here’s an interesting page from them:

Was it Celani (sp??) that had the reactor with the wires? That sounded like it was going somewhere.

My ratio is more like 70/30 typically.

"You’re right about Rossi, he’s a lightning rod but it was an E-cat conference."

Yes. I typically wait a couple of weeks after a conference is over. It takes about that much time for all the papers/slides/translations to make it to the web.

AFAIK, he was not banned, just disgusted with the constant incivility on the part of certain skeptopaths and the failure of the mods to enforce their own rules fairly. I wasn't all that happy either.

Defkalion is another case of "WTF is going on". One "good thing" about their move to Canada....their new Canadian site is within an easy day's drive from where I live.....

"Was it Celani (sp??) that had the reactor with the wires? That sounded like it was going somewhere."

It was (and is), but both the Nanor and the Brillouin systems are also showing major promise. All three sets of researchers are much more "open" and "serious science" than Rossi. I really want to see Celani's official "peer-reviewed" publication on current work.

If true it will put me out of business. But when one door closes another opens... I am hopeful .
