Note also the male/female ratio (46%/54%) in this Pure Political Propaganda poll.

Last time I checked, the male and female populations are about equal.

You're about as convincing as a conservative as a transvestite with a huge Adam's apple is as a woman.

Why don't you stop making a colossal ass of yourself and look for gainful employment?

This election shouldn’t be even remotely close, and the fact that it is makes me disgusted at my country.

What you said! I've come to accept that the country is finished if people are stupid enough to reelect the Marxist bastard.

Conservative social issues are unpopular w/a sizable number of the electorate. It is *cool* to favor abortion and gay marriage. Birth control isn’t the issue, but forcing everyone to pay for it for others is only an issue to conservatives. Liberals think that is just fine.

Every time conservative social issues are highlighted, a portion of the undecided may, even reluctantly, turn to the donks.

We lost the social issues game a long time ago. IMO, most people do not care, but if the agendas are highlighted, they will choose the progressive side. There are probably more libertarians with a conservative fiscal POV than there are Republicans. I’m not sure how people rate social issues vs. economic ones in general, but if they are surviving so far in zer0’s economy and are not committed to conservative values, they may vote on continuing progressive social society.

The economy isn’t the same for everyone. A lot of folks are doing just fine and many have adjusted to the situation. Those who are doing really badly want the Government to support them and some of those who are scared to death of that are just resigned to their fate.

It may not be that clear cut, but it doesn’t resolve in our favor. Personally, I think the loss of liberty, freedom and individuality should apply to everyone and turn them against this administration, but I hear a lot of the left who think all that just comes down to the progressive social agenda, ignoring the police state or blaming it on the GOP. They are brainwashed and that works against us.

Who wants the Republican base divided? Conservatives cannot be so silly as to believe the election of Romney will mean he cannot be pushed to the Right.

Rather than trying to divide the Republicans we should be concerned about electing all the conservatives we can to the Congress.

Romney is not going to push any wild ideas and Congress could stop them if conservatives elect it.

Or are they going to just whine about mythical conspiracies?

Oh, Lord.

Since you are such an expert prognosticator, who is going to win the World Series this year? And the Super Bowl?

I call BULL$HIT on all this.. Complete BULL$HIT.

While I don’t doubt, and have even predicted Obama would likely see a bounce from CLINTON’S SPEECH (Clinton Nastalgia) don’t believe for one minute any poll showing Obama up is worth a damn.

This is nothing but Propoganda nothing more.

Some of what you said may be true. But the point is only by distorting the nature of the electorate can even a slight lead for The Disaster be ginned up. Oversample the Left leaning so that the result is favorable to The Disaster.

This trick is so easily seen through, if you actually look.

So it has to be at least D +5 to give Obama that 5 pt edge. What SHOULD Ohio be?

Probably about 35R/3D/30I or, R or D +1

“Romney is not going to push any wild ideas and Congress could stop them if conservatives elect it.”

He’s not going to undo Obamacare. For that reason alone he should not be elected. We need a republican who’s willing to fight it and get rid of it. If it means waiting another 4 years, than so be it.

The absolute worst outcome is to have both parties endorsing abortion in their platform. We’re not there yet, but electing Romney gets us very, very close to it.

Nope, practicing Catholic. Can’t vote for anyone on the record of supporting abortion. Romney’s on the record as an abortion supporter from way back.

I don’t like not voting for the republicans anymore than anybody else, but my hands are tied. Thanks RINOs!

“Betcha you think they faked the moon landing. How much does DU pay you to hang. DU pay you to hang out here?”

Catholic history teacher. Thrilled with Santorum. Disgusted with Romney How does it feel to be so very wrong? Love Paul Ryan, would vote for the inverted ticket in a heartbeat. Supported McCain when he selected Palin and helped drag his ass across the finish line before he quit and threw the election to Obama.
