Kerry is in the lead and has made it to 50%!!! Bush cannot win Ohio and without it he is toast! It's over!

........................

These polls we have now showing Obama in the lead coming out of his convention with the press going all out to cover it far more favorably than they did the GOP convention are probably accurate...but the numbers are hardly insurmountable and this is September, folks...please stop panicking. I'm sure if we go back into the archives we can find these kinds of polls being posted and all of us in a panic that Bush is losing, it's over, never should have nominated Bush, etc. Obama could very well win...or Romney could very well win...but one thing is for sure: The polls that are being released today straight out of his convention are irrelevant to what the result is going to end up being. Right now he does have the advantage...now are we going to play into the media's narrative in replacing the actual news of the economic disaster found in the last jobs report to the news being about polling data...or are we going to continue fighting on?

Also don't forget the trolling factor trying to stir us up by "pretend" freepers also trying to demoralize us with their own hysteria.

Right...I don’t know why we go for this narrative every time.

Now, that said...that doesn’t mean we sit on our behinds - we have to fight just as hard as ever to win regardless of which way these polls keep swinging, but the posts saying we’ve already lost and might as well give up are nonsensical.

They always like to be negative and they have sour grapes since their presidential candidate lost in the primary. That candidate’s last name starts with an ‘S’ and ends with an ‘M’.

As for me, I always look for the positives like checking the polling internals that may not support the pollster’s conclusions.

That was my candidate too but reality is what it is and I have moved on.

LeftwardHO thinks it’s not looking good, and thinks we should all sit this one out...

In fact, LeftwardHO thinks we should sit out every election... until 2032, when we can finally bring the battle to those leftists with the perfect candidate!

I think the pundits have forgotten the 2010 election and the fury in which the dems lost seats.

That fury still exists.

A tactic once understood is no longer a tactic. What don’t we understand about the MSM tactics?
