On the campaign trail, President Obama is constantly talking about the importance of technology, but he met his match in an iPhone Sunday.

But when White House trip director Marvin Nicholson handed the president his personal iPhone, Mr. Obama couldn't get it to work. A reporter who witnessed the scene said the president looked "befuddled."
"It's not clear he knows how to dial on an iPhone," the reporter wrote in a pool report.

I don’t know how this is news. I’m 26 and I’m pretty sure I couldn’t navigate my way around the iPhone.
Barry is a CrackBerry kind of guy.

I am okay with my iPhone. I hope to get the new one since the first issue to me is quite heavy. My hubby is a whiz with his iPhone. I am not going to knock him for this. Some reporters are getting way too nick picking.
This sounds like it was written by a gay guy trying to make conservatives look petty and vindictive. I can criticize Obamao for a multitude of things, but not being able to operate an iPhone...seriously?
Need I say if he were a Republian, this would be a top news item for days, if not weeks.
The president then has more trouble dialing. When the call didn't go through, he blamed Mr. Nicholson for having an insufficient cell phone plan.

I had to point out it is a small, conservative paper in D.C., but reminded them if this was Romney, the Washington Post would have it front and center along with everyone else.

got my first iPhone in December...took me a day or two.
I criticize Obama for a lot of things, but I don’t care if he has trouble using his electronic gadget. Perhaps the media is trying to distract readers from the bad things about Obama that really matter.
