The media has done its best to ignore the Occupy terrorists, but have now confessed. Perhaps drawing inspiration from Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who can lie with an utterly straight face about reality (what she said on tape about the Israeli ambassador, what happened on the floor of the DNC when the words Jerusalem and God were excised and then restored to the platform), the Southern Poverty Law Center has stepped in to solve the problem for the left. Re-define the Occupy movement as "radical right."

The Nazis were national socialists, while the communists are international socialists. The only real difference is that the Nazis had snapper uniforms. A more accurate political continuum is with the anarchists on the far right and absolute dictatorship on the far left.
Not bad! I'd change the 'S' to 'sleazy', though.
SPLC like the ACLU and the DNC is full of IDIOTS!
I absolutely KNEW that eventually, some Obama surrogate-group
would try to float the idea that idea that the Occupy “folks” were actually a branch, an offshoot, or a mutation of the Tea Party. Of course, I think we all expected the Occupy groups to be more front and center through the summer and into the election period than they have in fact become. They have petered out, and I don’t know if there are any plans for a
“resurgence”. I think they’ve gotten the word, from the White House or their own internal “brains trust” to cool it in the summer and fall, because it would inevitably hurt Obama’s chances. More disruptive activity from OWS this close to the election would give too many voters the idea that it was designed to SERVE and reinforce the Obama message, rather than undermine it. Yet still it can’t hurt, the way they see it, to put forth the idea that they are RADICAL RIGHT rather than anarchistic Radical Leftists.
This is another bit of demagoguery that will go over like a lead balloon, in whatever little way they try to sell it.
Thank you for granting my wish. You must be psychic.
I sure don't remember their good old days like that, they were started by hard leftists to advance leftist causes, the radical leftist Julian Bond was their first president, he got the job having earned his chops by helping to create another leftist organization of 1960s fame, the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC).
SPLC has always been a leftist organization and was founded by leftists, to advance the left.
So the Left wants to get rid of these smelly losers. Guess the bigots at SPLC should tell Pelosi she was praising a Right wing group as her “heroes.”
I thought it was founded by commies.
Remember the "Death to the Klan" rally in Greensboro, NC, promoted for months in advance by the SPLCsupposedly on behalf of black textile workers? I was living in New York at the time. Reading one of the frequent direct-mail pieces I was getting from SPLC on this, I said to myself, "My, what a violent bunch. They must be trying to get some people killed."
And that's exactly what happened. When the day for the glorious rally came, five on the SPLC-Communist side were killed by gunfire. The Communists also were shooting at the handful of counter-demonstrators, but apparently didn't successfully hit anyone. A local commission investigation later found that many in the local black population had been uncomfortable with the idea of this march because of the potential for violence. This was pure race-war agitprop. SPLC, by promoting a confrontation and promising deadly force (hate speech anybody?), is on the record inciting a riot and acting as accessory to murder.
Recall that the year 1979 was during the time of the Soviet Union. Anything named "Communist" or its near relative was taking orders from Moscow, according to the Venona intercepts.
Despite changes in the home country, the SPLC seems to have "kept the faith." May they meet their just reward, which I'm guessing will be different from St. Paul's.

I stand correct.
I guess I should say: at first SPLC started off by focusing on more-or-less real racists, but now its true face shows.
correct = corrected.
Cant’ even get corrections correct.
Took a bit of time, just as with the ADL.
Now they’re both stinkingly corrupt and antisemites to boot.

It would be hilarious watching fat Michael Moore with a megaphone supporting the radical right.
Snow, Pills, and Landsharks Club.
I don't think their real target was ever racism or antisemitism. It was people -- conservative Southerners who, if you asked them, would tell you they were anti-Communist and anti-socialist.
That's the people in the South and Midwest -- in the "Finkelstein Box" -- that the New Left really went after.
The SPLC put the New Black Panther Party in the “Radical Right” too. Anyone that takes the SPLC seriously (MSNBC) are idiots.
