I kind of thought this might be a staged "Sister Soulja" moment where Obama would come out against the big teachers unions in an appeal to moderates. I should have known better, he is incapable of being anything but far left, even if being reelected depended on him moving to the center.
What Obama REALLY meant to say:
“Hey, Illinois isn’t a swing state, those pigeons will vote for me no matter what, come on, those unions love me, they kiss my ass every time I see them, I dont have to pander to those people.”

.....That's because this is probably a staged event and manufactured crisis. This is an important election for statists and socialists. As a result, the prez will probably personally step in and negotiate a winning settlement, that has probably already been reached. He will once again save the day .... the conquering hero will rise up to retake the status and mantle of deity among his adoring followers and all who worship at his feet.
