Of course, liberal Bookman is delighted, but he really has no answers to the question posed in his title. His only suggestion is that most voters figure things would just be worse under the GOP.

As Rush L stated; the MSM’s propagandizing pole numbers in obozo’s favor is meant to shape public opinion.

1)Welfare state

2) Illegal aliens illegally voting

3) No-cost propaganda arm (CNN, NBC, ABC)

These are the three reasons. Take this election back in time, and Romney would win win by 20 points. Dems are cheating more than usual.

Chairman Obamkov is not incompetent or stupid, he is evil.
But, he is the President of my country. So I have focused my talents of product development in inventing a security system to help protect him.
I've come up with geodesic polygon based portable Faraday Shield. It is light weight and when collapsed can fit into a briefcase and will protect him from lightening.
Once he leaves the skin effect shielding of a plane or automobile he can expand the device and step inside while the secret service can roll him to his destination.
In this way he will be protected from God's wrath and atonement.
I call it the Anti Smite Sphere, or A.S.S.
Soon you will be seeing him with his head, and the rest of him,up inside of his A.S.S. being positioned in front of his TelePrompter.
When finished he will be able to exit thru the excrement hole, flushed with the warmth and excitement of his admiring fans.

It is not clear that Romney is losing but it is becoming increasingly clear that he is not winning.

I believe he is not winning because he has failed to set the context for the election. I believe it the wrong approach to say that the contest is over jobs. I believe the contest is over the survival of the country. That means the survival of the country free of the specter we all know from The Grapes of Wrath.

All we hold dear will be destroyed if our fiscal house is not brought under control. Obama will wreck the country financially, legally, morally, and as a civil society. Obama has not failed because he is a nice guy who has been ill advised, Obama has failed because he is a radical redistributionist, a Marxist who wants to "transform" our system at any cost. He is an ideologue who believes in breaking as many eggs as necessary to make his omelette.

I know that Romney has been advised by his experts who are privy to very expensive data accrued from focus groups and insider polling which tell them that the election will be decided by independents and independents will decide against the candidate who causes discord.

One has only to look at recent polling numbers to see that that evidently is not the case. Obama has lied his way from beginning to end in this election and he has disparaged Romney with the most palpably absurd charges without any evident "blowback."

Yes, we know that Obama has been shielded from justifiable criticism by virtue of his skin color and we know that he has a lot of downfield blockers in the media. So Obama can get away with much that Romney should not dare. But Romney could have fielded an array of effective surrogates who could make the damning case against Obama.

Where are they?

Here on the west side of Cincinnati I have yet to see an Odogeatter yard sign, meanwhile i drive by dozens and dozens and see more every day.

I do not believe the oversampled polls. I know quite a few Odogeater 2008 voters (”I am not a racist, I voted for 0” voters) who will not be voting for him this time around while I know no McLame voters who will be voting for the dog eater this time.

Why isn't Mittens winning?

1) We are a corrupt, ignorant and decadent people who have managed to squander almost everything that has been bequeathed to us.

2) Mittens is a weak candidate with few convictions other than that he should be president and whose brain trust is made up of Massachusetts insiders.

Mona Charen had it right this morning on Bill Bennett’s show. The GOP never fought back against the meme that Bush ruined the economy in 2007 and 2008 and most people believe it. Even though it was a 2006 democrat Congress led by Frank and Dodd that caused the housing bubble which burst to threaten our financial system. Bush’s economy was 5.5% unemployment and 3.5% growth before that election. This is the BIG LIE in politics today and the media trumpets it still...that Bush ruined the economy. That’s why Willard can’t get any traction against the “failed policies of the past” propaganda.

When your campaign pollster is forced to release an “OK, Nobody Panic!” memo, as Neil Newhouse did today, it’s never a good sign.

^ THIS ^

There's a technical term for the sad, inevitable tendency -- every four years, like clockwork -- applicable to the side in any presidential contest whose adherents are forced to chant, idiotically: "... donnnnnnnnn't belieeeeeeeeeve the polllllllllllllssssssssss... donnnnnnnnn't belieeeeeeeeeve the polllllllllllllssssssssss...," over and over and over again.

That term; losers.

Four years ago, Team McCain's sycophants were mumbling the same insistent, zombie drone, all the way up to Election Day. Just sayin'.

Romney isn’t winning because the media says he isn’t winning. Romney will win if his voters get mad and not discouraged.

A lot of people don’t think they need a job these days.
Those gov’t checks, ie, borrowed money, keep coming in.

Of course, that’ll stop and pretty soon.

TIPP Poll Past Performance

The TIPP Poll was the most accurate presidential poll having come in #1 in both the 2004 and 2008 Presidential elections. An article summarizing the results is available here. The official election results compiled by the Federal Election Commission for 2008 is available here and for 2004 is available here. Readers may note that some analysis of results and pollster performance ranking on the Internet are obsolete because they analyze accuracy based on election night results, which are significantly different from the final results when all votes were counted.

It is not going to get much better because Romney agreed to participate in debates hosted and moderated by leftist. They will pull out all the stops to make Romney look bad in the debates. I would bet that Obama will get a list of the questions a couple weeks ahead of time to help him rehearse. Romney should have never have agreed to do a debate moderated by the MSM.

Judging from Mitt’s behavior, I’ve long thought perhaps he doesn’t want to win. When you compare his campaigning to Ryan’s it just doesn’t measure up in any category. Certainly not in fervor or passion. And Ryan, good as he is, can’t win on his own.

The race is very close, which means the Dems can and will cheat. This means that everyone needs to get out and do more than just vote for Romney. Make calls. Get people to vote. We’re at the tipping point. Let’s push it over. It’s for America.

Because, as pointed out in the primaries, he is an empty suit with money. In today's words, he sucks.
