Aussie Rules football player Jason Ball has come out of the closet publicly. He’s using the opportunity to launch a change.org campaign to encourage the AFL to show an anti-homophobia ad at their Grand Final, which is the AFL’s equivalent of the Super Bowl. The game is at the end of September.
Ball’s story reflects ones we’ve heard over and over. He saw and heard some homophobia when he was in the closet and teammates (foolishly) assumed there weren’t any gay guys in the locker room. So he assumed the worst would happen. Instead, he’s been met with a positive reaction.

After reaching the age of 60 recently, I have decided to come out of the closet - I’m a male lesbian. Deal with it.

I had to see what team he played for. It’s not an Australian Football League team. Basically, it’s a minor leaguer.
Seems funny to me that a bloke from a minor city team would be suggesting what the AFL should do.
Now if a Hawthorne or Geelong player gave a shout out, that would be appropriate, but have a basic “mudhen” make demands, puts me in the mind of “looking hard to find someone”.

Sounds like you’re right; they had to search and dug this guy up to be the gay voice of AFL.
Come out, come out...sounds like Sodom & Gomorrah. Why do they think we care to know of their sexual pervasiveness .
We don’t care to know- but they are going to get their agenda out there, globally, using any high-profile venue they can. All part of the progressive plan.
Let’s ignore/subvert/monopolize the activities of an ATHLETIC EVENT just because I want to talk about what I do with my ding ding!
