Despite Media Hype, No Bounce for Obama in Swing States

Whatever bounce Obama got was in the blue states. In the swing states, it’s still way too close to call. Today’s Rasmussen poll results show that in the eleven swing states, including Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin, which total 145 electoral votes, it’s Obama 46% and Romney 45%. In 2008, Obama won these states 53% to 46%.

So how does the MSM try to spin the evidence so Obama looks like he’s unbeatable? Let’s look at Ohio, for example. Politico reported (using uncredited sources, of course), that Ohio is lost for Romney:

Obama is going down. He is playing out the game. He is not paying his bills and now claiming he raised more money. The average person is sick of him and his fake photo ops. John Kerry tried the same thing but was not the incumbent. Obama can’t get over the hump with his own people.

Remember when the polls showed Kerry over Bush. Carter over Reagan. Dukakis over Bush and the mediacorruptoes called it early for Gore over Bush...

People really need to stop freaking out over CNN/ABC/MSNBC/NYTimes polls.

Want to win the next election? Do something to help turnout.

Remember Bob Smith running for Senate re-election in NH in ‘96? Dan Blather called the race early for Dimocrat Dick Swett (that is his real name). Smith got solid turnout in heavily GOP northern NH and stole the race from Dick Swett. Blather was forced to apologize. Ha ha...

The media knows that Obama received ZERO bounce from his Bash Israel, Bash God, abortion love fest. This is why they had to release these BS polls showing Obama in the lead. They had to, otherwise the Dems would feel rejected. This way they are trying to make the Republicans feel rejected and the Dems feel energized. CNN accidentally revealed that Romney has a 14 point(I think its more like 20+) advantage with Independents, something that Obama beat McCain handily in 2008. If that is true Romney wins easily

This is what Karl Rove told Hannity earlier today. The bounce is in states already solid for Obama, not in the Swing States.

Rove know what he doing.

There's no bounce in Ohio. I live on the west side of Cleveland. Two months away from the election and I've only seen TWO signs for Obama. Four years ago, there were dozens. People I know who voted for him last time are luke warm at best.

Even though rove can be as an ass sometimes, when it comes making these elecotral predicitons, he is cautious in making them.

They are hoping for the monkey see, monkey do factor. They think that people will mindlessly follow who they say is in the lead, because after all so many others can’t be wrong. I sure hope that people, though they made a huge mistake last time, realizing it, are not as mindlessly stupid this time around.

Whatever the polls say, we know that dems count on organized vote cheating that is often able to lift them up by a percentage that is enough to cause them to win, even when they actually lost. This is what we must get a handle on, concentrating on how to bust them before or even during the election rather than after, when it becomes a mute point.
