U.S. has no right to block Israel on Iran: Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday said the United States had forfeited its moral right to stop Israel taking action against Iran's nuclear program because it had refused to be firm with Tehran itself.

In comments which appeared to bring the possibility of an Israeli attack on Iran closer, Netanyahu took the Obama administration to task after Washington rebuffed his own call to set a red line for Tehran's nuclear drive.

"The world tells Israel 'wait, there's still time'. And I say, 'Wait for what? Wait until when?'" said Netanyahu, speaking in English.

I tend to agree Mary, if Iran represents a true existential threat to Israel then Bibi should just quit whining and shut his trap and rev up the jets and the Nukes! We’ve already been drug into too many Mid-East interventions!

So what’s he waiting for? It’s his military, Israel should do what they need to do.

The Israeli attack and our possible involvement may boost Obama as CIC. It’s a real wild card.

A quick strike before Rosh Hashanah? Or in time for Yom Kippur?

Chills up my spine to think of the shofar sounding with explosions in the background.

Would be most interested in your thoughts.

The Zero administration has on several occasions leaked sensitive military information to the press, and hence to the Iranians, regarding Israeli military deployments.

The most infamous example, from a few months ago, was the disclosure that Israeli aircraft were secretly deployed in Azerbaijan.

How could the Israelis trust him? They should have tested him with false info. Or maybe they did...

(Article) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday said the United States had forfeited its moral right to stop Israel taking action

Well, the U.S. does get a say, Bibi's discomfiture on the point n/w/s, since without sustained U.S. support, some of it unwilling (the AJC blackmailed Harry Truman into recognizing David Ben-Gurion's government in 1948), the Jews of Israel would have been reduced to lampshades in Mecca a long time ago.

That's the basics.

Does anyone have any doubt anymore that Barry wants to give Iran time to produce a weapon? That he thinks a nuclear Iran is a good idea because it will strike a blow against the "Zionist entity" which he despises?

No, I don't have any doubt about that; and in fact, I think Barry is setting us up -- on purpose -- to get nuked by somebody, by eliminating so much of our nuclear arsenal and ruining our finances, that we'll drop from being the "hyperpower" (thus the cheese-eating surrender-monkeys) of the planet to a second-rate power in a world reorganized by the mullahs, Putin, the Chicoms, and bit players like Hugo Chavez.

Who, by the way, is allowing some sort of rocket base to be built in northern Venezuela, I keep reading. He wants to play "Cuban Missile Crisis Round II" with us, no doubt using someone else's nuclear IRBM's.

Prepare. Be. Wise. Get. It. Done.

It has been going back and forth-they are never going to

agree for peace. Watch the movie The Kingdom of God.

It is just like right it is now. Accept. It.

NOvember 7th, after ObamO is defeated, may to soon.
Oturd could still do a lot to mess with Israel.
Even as a LAME @UCK!

Those last two month are going to be the scarriest two month since probably the two month folling 9-11. ONly its our “own” Prezbo who we need to worry about.

I would be very surprised.

Were you "very surprised" 11 years ago?

The difference between Israel and Iran is that Israel will attack missile sites and nuclear facilities. Tehran will nuke Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

I recall a public statement by the Israeli Ambassador to the United States, broadcast by Fox News and possibly others, ...

... giving the current administration 30 days to respond in the affirmative with regard to a potential attack on Iran.

The implication was that Israel would ‘go it alone’ if that affirmative response was not given.

I can not recall on exactly what date that interview was broadcast ...

... but if you are looking for it, I would start by finding the ‘New Moon’ this month (later this week, I think), and count backwards 30 days +- one or two.

For those actually looking for it, even on Fox, it was a 1-day news cycle item. IF the current administration answered the Ambassador, either way, I am not aware of it.

In another month everyone will be screaming about how there was no warning.

The 15th is what everyone with a calendar says.

I say the 12th for the primary attack, with the same calendar conditions allowing followups for 5 full days.

I really hope Israel does wait until AFTER our election to pull the trigger. First, because they’d not get 100% commitment from our Muslim president and secondly, I’d hate to see 0bama get a ‘wartime president’ bounce.. A war should hurt 0bama’s reputation but the media will spin it to make him look like Winston Churchill.

To paraphrase Sir Winston, "an empty limousine pulled up in front of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and Barack 0bama got out".

The Israelis would do America a great favor if it waited until after our elections to deal with Iran.

Obama needs to energize his base. He found out during the Democratic convention and its aftermath how to do that. Seldom have the Democrats been more energized than when they were booing God and Jerusalem. And the majority of Americans apparently agrees with them since the post-convention bounce put Obama’s approval rating above 50 percent.

An attack by Israel on Iran would re-energize this majority to go to the polls for Obama. Why would the Israelis want to help Obama win re-election?

If Obama wants to energize his anti-God and -Jerusalem base, the Israelis should make Obama do it himself. History gives him many precedents; for example, since many Jews themselves are anti-God and -Israel, a Yom Kippur eve rally in Times Square along the lines of the Nuremburg rallies would likely attract multitudes of passionate Obama supporters.

So, he wants to act to protect himself because Zero refuses to take action? Where does he think he is, Arizona?

Apparently Netanyahu is not optimistic that 0bama will “be more flexible”

though Slow Joe Biden might be. Draw your own conclusions.
