ALGIERS, Algeria (AP) -- The U.S. Embassy in Algiers is warning Americans in the country to avoid non-essential travel amid calls for protests after an attack on a U.S. consulate in Libya.

The embassy said in an emergency message to U.S. citizens that unspecified groups are using online social networks to organize demonstrations in front of the embassy Wednesday "to protest a range of issues."

One of the reasons I feared while serving in the FS is now coming to reality; a weak president and a diplomatic core that refuses, 1) to respect their civilizations western Christian values, and 2) refuses to diplomatically enjoin the leaders of the nations under Islam to reject this notion that disprect of Mohammend is a reason to attack others, and that under the rules of diplomacy Islam must also respect the Christian symbols.

If Romeny injects that direct and open diplomacy to engage the leaders of the Islamic countries to respect others and to stop the attacks over symbols.

Romeny should also inject that this is about Religion(s) and the US Govt has been mistaken in its publicity campaign of burying our heads in the sand failing to acknowledge this point. We are again faced with the same clash of civilizations from an aggressor that created the RESPONSE referred to as the Crusades.
