during the attempted rescue of the iran hostages, i was on an aircraft carrier in the med... we were at battle stations for over 24 hours.. we were shooting aircraft off the decks like there was no tomorrow ( this in itself was an amazing feat, considering there were no spare parts, very little fuel and ammunition, thanks carter )..
