According to the White House calendar, there is no public record of President Barack Obama attending his daily intelligence briefing--known as the Presidential Daily Brief (PDB)--in the week leading up to the attacks on the U.S. embassy in Cairo and the murder of U.S. Libyan Ambassador Chris Stevens and three American members of his staff:

The last time prior to the slayings that the White House calendar publicly confirms Mr. Obama attending his daily intelligence briefing was September 5th. (The White House did not provide an official public calendar for September 8-10.) Mr. Obama and Vice President Joe Biden met with Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta at 5:00 p.m. yesterday.

According to a recent study by the Government Accountability Institute, Mr. Obama has only attended 43.8 percent of his Presidential Daily Briefs in the first 1,225 days of his Administration.

There is nobody at the helm. Obama is staying in the family quarters in sweat suites, and only rarely interfacing with Valerie Jarret and David Axlerod. He’s almost pulling a Carl Wilson or a Howard Hughes withdrawal syndrome. A handful of advisors relaying POTUS whispers are running the country.

Since 2009, this administration and State Dept. have repeatedly been warned by Congressional Committees, and the State Department's own watch-dog, that security was lax at our embassies. The State Dept. claimed lack of funds. So, can Harry Reid and the rest of the Dumbocrats be blamed, due to their failure to provide a Federal Budget these past 3 years?

In the aftermath of 9/11, President Bush was mercilessly attacked by the Dems and the media for not acting on Clinton-era intelligence that terrorists may be planning to use planes. Since this White House and State Dept. has known since 2009 that our embassies have lacked proper security protection, and chose not to do anything about it, shouldn't they be held accountable for what happened yesterday? Don't worry...I won't hold my breath.

As long as Valerie Jarrett is even close to the bridge, I would suggest that there IS someone at the helm. Between her and Huma Abedin, the ship may very well be exactly on course and precisely on time (regardless of what part of the ship Obama is gracing with his radiant presence).
