In 1979 we had a weak president -- Carter -- who invited attack of our embassy in an Islamic country. The Muslims knew Carter would do nothing.

Now in 2012 Obama's failed leadership has inspired Islamic radicals to attack not one, but two embassies on the anniversary of 9 11.

I may be wrong but I do not believe it is policy to put Marine guards in consulates. Only embassies have a Marine guard. Although I would have no objection if these thugs just happened to meet up with a few F18’s. I wonder how long it would take to arrive in Benghazi from the nearest carrier?

A question for the number one mission of the US State Dept. under one, Hillary Clinton, to secure our embassies. State was reportedly forewarned. Huge fail for Hillary Clinton. In enemy territory to have no Marines is tragic folly. Leftist diplomacy is hand holding.
